there's a little chill in the air here in N.J. Just reminds me that indoor weather will soon be here.
Luckily i have my QB78 set up finally to shoot indoors. there is no shooting outside here in my densly populated area.
I do most of my shooting at the familes cottage in upstate NY. we'll be closing that up for the winter at the end of this month.
I still have the stoeger x20 on the way (thats another story) and my newly semi-tuned old rws34 to brake in.
maybe only 2 trips left upstate and hundred of rounds just to brake them in. Maybe i can send them off to a warmer climate for the winter and one of you guys can brake them in for me. ;)
the 34 seems much more powerful after the new spring. i got a chance to shoot a doz or so crow mags thru it and it was shooting about 6 inches high at 20 yards, the rear site all the way down. seems like a lot to me. i think it needs a couple hundred more rounds at least to settle down but time is short . and i still have my .22 marlin to play with. and my brother want to learn skeet shooting with me(never tried it ) so much shooting...so little time.

Here, it's just now cooling off enough for me to get out and shoot. :D

Hey Bro. if you can shoot one indoor's why not all of them(just need a good back stop), you will enjoy learning "Skeet", it's a gunner's game for sure, all about lead an follow though,Hehe want to buy a super nice late 60's Winchester 101 O/U, factory made for the game(very nice engraving on it also).

the qb78 is VERY quiet since i put the brake on. the34 is way to loud (i live in a 2 family)

Missouri weather has started to cool down enough that I can finally get some use from my shooting station. It's been a brutally hot summer. I'm expecting my 20 caliber R9 back from Shadow any day now so I can start breaking it in. I have my bench set up under a large umbrella that allows me some shade as I shoot. I have a 20 yard range with an electrical junction box full of Duct Seal for my targets. I have a lot of making up to do.

With Co2 I can understand cutting your season short since it and the cold don't mix well........but that 34 will allow you all year shooting, I know, me and my springers and my PCP's are shooting all year round here in Indiana......

stevemag: Not so bad (yet) here in SW Idaho, co2 shooting still ok for now. Wife was from Rochester and I used to work in Seneca Falls/finger lakes area so I feel your pain.
My AR2078 has all the little mods done to it, longer probe bolt, stainless bolt handle, HDD etc etc and a walnut sporter stock and most importantly, a 6" LDC to make it super quiet. Will be shootin it and my co2 pistols in the garage by next month.
I'm lucky out here in the "wilds" of Idaho, shoot wherever we want (mostly) as long as it's safe.

Now when it gets cold I break out Lucy...:)
