The real (analog) deal. No namby-pamby little electronic numeric readouts that need those tiny fiddly button batteries, spoonfeedin’ the numbers directly into the blank staring eyes of them young digital age whippersnappers. ;D
Just kidding - these calipers are available to anyone who says they want it, and are willing to pay for shipping it via the Priority Mail Medium Box Flat Rate of $13.75 (it won’t fit in the Small flat rate box, I already checked). This is a fine instrument I have owned and used gently for decades, and I insist.
*Plus I can print USPS labels right here at home on my computer and then just drop the package right into the drop-off bin of my post office’s lobby when they’re open (and not have to stand in no stupid line). 8)
So this offer is open to Anybody, even if you received something from me before.
To make it more fair though, this Lyman 7832212 Stainless Steel Analog Dial Caliper will belong to the first post taking it after 12 pm Noon tomorrow (8/16/21) Pacific Standard Time (because I wake up late nowadays).
PS. I just realized I might could wrap the whole caliper box in bubble wrap and stick it in a Priority Mail flat rate envelope, might be cheaper but would be at your own risk.
Let the waiting begin! :D
PPS. nothing else in the photos is included!!! ::)

Wow! I would love these calipers. I've been using a Home Depot General brand electronic caliper for the last 5 or so years. It works if you squeeeeeze the battery cover real tight and don't move your fingers. I've had analog calipers on the wish list for a long time. I'd be very grateful for a nice one and coming from a good home. Message me about payment details and I'll get that to you right quick. Thank you!

Thanks very much for the offer Stephen but we have to wait till noon tomorrow (the 16th) my time (PST), I should have made that more clear in my OP. Sorry!
-
I'd jump on that if I didn't already have a staret analog calipers since the early 90's. Thous look like very good quality calipers.
-
Wups! I'll read more carefully next time.

Sorry about that! My clock shows 10:28am right now, so in one hour and 32 mins.... 8)

I sure would like to have those, I'll pay the shipping if they're still available ???
-
Just check the time and it's still not noon pst yet. Maybe I can get lucky in about 50 more minutes
-
While I myself am waiting, why do I keep hearing the theme from "Jaws" in the back of my head? ;D
-
I'm still using my old vernier calipers but they're a pain in the butt to use because I need to wear my Optivisor to read them. They are very accurate though.
-
I am officially responding. Watching my clock..
-
It should be noon right about now 8) I hope I can get it :)
-
I went by the atomic clock you beat me to it but it looks like you were a half minute early 8)
-
Well, it appears my computer clock is not the same as the GTA clock. I guess final determination is up to Charlie. It's been a fun game - whoever wins.

*DING! DING! DING!*
Winnah winnah chicken dinnah!
I went by the clock here on GTA (see screenshot photo below):
-
Congrats Wayne! PM me how you wanna ship it. 8)
-
BTW guys, I typed up my Winnah Winnah post Before I read you guys' last posts, just so ya know. Because it was always in my mind to go by the GTA clock since it clearly and easily and accurately matches up your post with the exact time you posted it.
-
Very nice of you Charlie.

Very nice of you Charlie.
Aw shucks Jerry, thank you kindly. I just offer stuff from time to time in the spirit of "well I no longer use this so why not let somebody else enjoy it"... 8)
-
Charlie I'll definitely be making some use of it, it will be nice to be able to read with my readers rather than using my verniers with my Optivisor 8)
