After getting some of my small CO2 bottles filled I started looking at the cost to buy a large bottle and do my own filling. Also after a few searches found I could run pneumatic tools and fill tires with a set up that's similar but a bit different. Anyone in the forum that get's a larger bottle filled and uses it for multiple applications. Seems that larger bottles for filling smaller bottles should have a siphon installed or do the fills with the bottle upside down and bottles used for tire fill ups and running pneumatic tools don't need or want a siphon? Is that correct? Any insight would be appreciated.

You are correct, you want to fill airguns with liquid CO2, but tires and pneumatic tools need CO2 gas only, and possibly a regulator as well....

Hang the non syphon big tanks upside down...gravity still works.

Thanks for the feedback. I may just invest in two different bottle set ups. I have a hunting property that a properly set up bottle for tools or air would really come in handy.
