The pup caught this one all by himself. He lost his guts to the bite of the canine. It wouldn't stop moving when it had the chance. He didn't stop crunching until it stopped moving. I put one cheap target pell through the side his crown to stop the suffering.

Thanks. I prefer the pistol even at 20 yards (the range across my backyard) but i was only 2" away when his head got the lead. I just wanted it to stop kicking so the pup would release. I think he remembers what happened the last time he didn't finish the job. He got bit.
