I'm pretty sure this robot can also easily be programmed to fetch a beer from the fridge ;)
That's really cool!

As a manufacturer myself, looking at this video it is quite apparent that in a short time NSA Ammo will be a HUGE MAJOR player in the slug manufacturing business. I would not be surprised to see the very big boys wanting to buy his company out as time goes on.
Nick right now is producing extremely high quality ammo at a very competitive price ... The competitive price along with the quality will run off much of the competition.
Nick, congrats on your company and what you are doing to improve quality and while bringing cost down.

Very cool and well done. They could have hired somebody,...but probably could not get anyone (big problem right now). Plan B,..... does not complain, won't ever hit you up for a raise, cheap to feed, does not mind living at work, no calling in sick. ::)

Pretty cool.. 8) I used to run a big Lincoln Electric robotic welder; always thought writing a program where it would shake hands with corporate management, or the customers might make an impression... :D

robot + Ultrasonic cleaner? amazing technology!!!!

That is interesting on many levels. Didn't realize they were quite at that level of production but it makes sense given their ability to maintain inventory that they would have some kind of big reparation doing.

The elusive 3rd hand. I've been wanting a 3rdhand for years

Think the bot got the short straw, who would want that job.. I quit after the first cycle ;)

No idea what Nick paid for that arm but similar ones sell for 5k for the arm and another 5-10k for the controller. Makes sense financially for a menial task.

Very neat.
It makes sense. I'm surprised more ammo manufacturers haven't went more automated, especially concerning lead exposure.
I still want to tour a pellet factory. Like Crosman or even NSA. Maybe after this pandemonium ends...

What a neat set up he has there. The possibilities seem endless with robots.
