HW manufactured factory barrels that end up as Beeman R series guns have different numbers of rifling lands depending on caliber... My R1 .22 barrel appears to have 6 lands, while my newly purchased "factory" .20 barrel has 12 lands... Apparently, the HW manufactured .22 and .177 barrels have the same number of rifling lands, as compared to the .20 barrels, who are supposedly made by LW, that have 12 lands? Does anyone know if this information is accurate?
AT ;D

HW does not outsorce anything! :P
-
I seem to recall seeing where HW does not make .20 barrels, or, at least, the Beeman .20 orders had to be filled by LW. I know that LW does make .20's.
-
Yes LW does I've had several of them! and you are correct their is a difference on the rifling count on the .20cal barrel made by HW over the other 2 cals. :P But I will say that I don't know if HW uses LW barrels but I doubt it.

If the .20 cal HW/Beemans are made by LW that may explain the the price hike.

i've never met a LW barrel i didn't like or a HW product i didn't like win - win
