Is the Benjamin 392 pumper available with a wood stock anymore, I don't see it ?

All synthetic stocks on the new ones now.
-
As mentioned, synthetic stocks only now, and I find not the most comfortable to shoot with open sights. The comb hight is better suited for scopes.

I got 392s coming tomorrow...havent a clue as to why I bought it.....lol...

Oh man, that is to bad for that gun, I'm bummed :-)

Talking about later model guns....I dont know ...I have one torn down now..waiting on parts...I inquired about refinishing as I think their ugly....major consensus was not worth the effort...given the wood there made of...I think they look like pressboard...good luck
I got a 94 397 nice and I believe a 94 20....bath have decent wood...

Must be 6 + months ago I found a decent wood 392 at a fair price from Baker Airguns, keep looking they are out there still, some may just need the paint removed from the muzzle.

Will, what happened to that 392 you were souping up awhile back?

This is the best I could do refinishing and reshaping my wood 392. I never liked the ugly front pump arm stock. I used alcohol based muzzle loader wood stain that did not show a lot of blotches on the Plain Jane wood.(http://)

I have a few of them souped up and with scopes, but this is a different kind of thing, those stocks are very nice and I did a good job playing with them. Even though I want a clunker for the jeep, the new plastic version is supposed to be pretty good.
If AG has the discount thing going still at Crosman I may do that, haven't made up my mind yet. The gun will dictate the pellets used but all my others use Monsters, for weight and the higher BC for hunting. Could use JSB Jumbo Heavies also if they shoot better than the Monsters. I may have tins of H&N Kodiaks also, will have to see ?
This guy below I like and his video's are pretty informative. This one on the "NEW" Benji 392s is interesting for sure. My gun would be set up a bit different, wasn't going to have a scope but may, all mine have scopes, a stock bag, have extra pellets, a flexible cleaning rod, but no "REPAIR" kit, and I may do that.

Its a shame they dont make wood stocks for the 392. I was going to buy one but they all had plastic.

Well I posted I got one (392S) and I was pleasantly surprised...I was already aware that the iron sights were useless....good solid feel and a tack driver...no overspray anywhere....mine came from Midway...good luck

Thank you,
Since my post of not liking the synthetic stock, I have seen some good reviews. I may reconsider - )

I bought a new one from Walmart I think three years(?) ago. I'm pleased with how re-contouring and refinishing mine turned out. New, I called it a "pregnant mama bass" look, but I gave it a slimmer rear stock with flowing lines to the muzzle. Six coats of Minwax Antique Oil Finish, rubbed and buffed. I always liked blonde woods as they remind me of early flintlocks made of maple wood. Just my opinion though. Mine's a real shooter too with RWS Superdomes, just today giving me 1/2 inch center to center groups at a measured 41 feet in 14 MPH winds. Don

If your interested I posted a white spacer hack on the Back Room board...u know the one that goes between the buttplate and stock......I lke the look....may do a couple

I like the white spacer idea. I'll try to find your posting. Maybe a link please? White line spacers to me always gave definition but with smooth transition to changing material/grain/color in something. Whether furniture, gun stocks or flooring. Thank you. Don.
