Hello.. I was wondering if anybody has purchased and CATTLEMAN Air Guns or has any info about them that they would like to share? I have seen a few U Tube videos on a few of their guns. They look rather interesting and at a good price point.

Have you seen the accuracy, or lack there of on youtube? One guy was getting like 6" groups at 25yds, with JSB's, YIKES

The barrel issue is being addressed now. If a customer rec's one of the bad bbls, a new replacement bbl. will be shipped. ;)

The supersonic speeds in .22 aren't helping things.

These seem interesting, but I don't like the fact they are single shot... Would've been awesome to have 10 shot mags.

? They come with either a 10 shot or 8 shot mag. I haven’t seen the 6” groups either. I just bought one in .22. I’ll post a review when I get it.

10-shot mag for .22 , 9-shot mag for .25 per all info on their website...
Really interesting rifle, would be nice to have in a 30 & 35 cal setup...

A T1 and T2 with JSB and H&N.....enjoy

those groups are pretty bad.. id look into the AEA guns , similar price , available in semi auto , not as loud out of the box. And almost all are accurate out of the box.
-
Just a note about the above video, he gets tighter groups with his Blitz and several different pellets, not the shooter's fault.
M&B on Youtube is getting better groups with his T2, he put out a video yesterday showing this through the scope. I think there are just some problems that will hopefully be handled by warranty. Cattleman says they will cover any issues, I think they will even full refund for a certain period of time (not sure on the length of time), might want to contact them if you sort of like what you see and may want to buy one. There might still be a bunch of $100 off coupon codes out there.
If they had built a bullpup, I may have bought one from them, but they won't have something like that until maybe end of this year (2021). Would have been far easier to send stuff back to Pennsylvania for me than sending back to the Netherlands for the Kral I bought and had for a few hours before I found the bent shroud. They wanted the whole thing back, so off it went yesterday.
-
Not sure about the rifles but the guy shooting is moving all over the place and his scope cant is really bad!!! If your going to review a gun at least take the human factor out of the shooting or minimalize it with a bi-pod and rear bag etc. I have heard from several that the barrels are really bad and I hope they get it sorted out quickly as a debut like this can sink a ship quickly.

If you do your research, you will find that it’s best to steer clear of these guns for a while. Oh, and research does not involve YouTube videos. They are just entertainment. Good or bad videos are just a way to pass the time. Talk to actual owners on forums before you buy a random bandwagon gun. Let the test pilots hit the side of a mountain unless buying junkers is your thing.

Oops, I kept reading the single shot... lol

I've seen a significant amount of criticism towards them. A few people have mentioned several YT reviews being sponsored and more fiction than fact (saying single holes at 100 yards kind of thing).
I've never had one. I usually buy the mass produced and used guns of the world...the model Ts and so on. If I am going to take a risk, it would be for a gun manufacturered in the states.

am working closely with them on the barrel issue. It is a simple issue and will be quickly remedied.
I cut the rather generous choke off the one I have here for testing and Although it is not accurate with my hand cast pellet, it is a tack driver with the JSB 18/ I shot several 50 yard groups that were the size of a dime. There were however fliers. to be expected however as the winds were 18 mph with higher gust.
As I said, the issue is being addressed now.
I have found two other improvements for it and they too are being addressed. Other than weight, I could really like this gun. But for the bench, it is welcome. ;) Using a spring I had here, along with a mod to the poppet pin, I picked up over 249 fps over the two chrony's. the lesser spring and before the poppet stem work, it was at 740. Now 998 fps with the JSB 18's.
Miss Victoria is sending a stronger factory replacement spring and an upgraded barrel in order for me to test what the customer can expect.
Mod's will include the change form a ss guide rod for the hammer to a tools steel hammer to prevent galling and is the cause of differing fps, and hopefully the under cut poppet pin to allow better flow through the valve body up through the port. And finally, I removed apx. 100 thou from the outside Dia of the poppet head itself..
Final mod was after removing the crown and polishing the bbl. and re-crown was to open the barrel port from .167 to .187" for better breathing and smoothing the breech leade. this is all being shared with Cattleman.
This is by the way, a U.S. owned company.
I will post more when I know more.
Don't let the blue badge on the scope fool ya. It isn't a discovery. It is Zeiss. ;) And yes, the bipod is a clone. I only use Accu-Tac for my own gun. The real Accu-Tac. LOL

I had been told that they are not choked barrels, so this is new.
You must have a .25, since the .22 are already going 1100fps and higher and these .22 should probably be turned down a bunch. This is a guess, and only my guess at that, but I'm guessing that these are all made as a .25 chassis and they just put the .22 action/barrel together and let it flow. Again, just a guess (so no one can read that s is official).

Thanks Michael..( knife maker )..for the update! I am impressed with Victoria, the company and the guns. I am just waiting till this gets a bit refined before I purchase 1 or 2 of them. It's great that you are helping out and sharing your expertise!!

About the cold welding, would a grease with Teflon be a good way to keep this problem away until parts can be swapped? Or maybe a moly grease? Just looking for a short term solution because a lot of people are now buying these and it would be nice to keep them healthy until a permanent solution is shipped out.
And if you check out the live stream from tonight, Macabespeed made some comments about the T1 and T2 that he received. Summary is that out of the box is not fantastic, they need some adjustments. His full review will be soon, and it seems like it will not be the glowing result that people assumed since he received 2 free rifles. That is my take on what he said tonight, so may be partly what I read into his words.
M&B also had a video today, and while his T2 always seemed to shoot better, he turned the power down and was getting what I would consider to be good results. Really I'd be happy shooting to the level he was hitting today, my skills behind the trigger are not fantastic. Need time and practice!
All 3 of the above are in .22 and all 3 started life shooting faster than 1000fps with "normal" weight pellets.
For full disclosure, yes I chat with both regularly and will eventually meet up with M&B for some shooting because he is close enough. Then I'll be able to put some rounds through his T2 and make up my own mind.

Anytime someone talks about FPS beyond 970fps with pellets as a positive, I know they don't know they are part of the problem. Slugs maybe a high of 1015 on some platforms...sure I get it...realistically 920-970fps is a very hot speed for most airguns and more realistically 880-920fps is your kosher speeds to maintain stabilization with the skirt. Constructing the gun to shoot in transonic speeds or advertising the gun's transonic abilities is a misplaced sense of value IMO...but that is just my fancy I suppose.

I am optimistic about this company. For the price point they are offering a good product with excellent support and the willingness to listen and improve. That ain't bad. Time will tell but I'm looking forward to purchasing something from them in the near future. Hopefully in .3x caliber. Also thanks to Knifemaker for his efforts.

So far, I'm very good results with the mods I have been making to the gun. Looks like the factory is going to include most if not all of them.. ;)

Had an Email from Miss Victoria. Improvements will be made available to current owners as implemented
The hard carbon steel hammer guide/adjustment rod will be made available to any customer who wants one. Simply e-mail them.

Just placed an order for their M1 in .22. They are having a clearance sale $450. Seems like a bargain to me.
-
I have been looking at these as well.. For now I'm staying away as it seems they need too much help from people that know how an airgun should work like knife to get them going. Once Knife and the company get them straightened out I would likely jump all over one.
-
Think they're on it Randy. Victoria sent me an email stating the mods will be in my rifle when it arrives. Can't ask for more than that.

Glad she contacted you. I have been trying to reach her for days now.
I made the tool steel hammer guide rod and thereade it. Polished it and burnished it with Tungsten Disulfide and it feels like two glass plated with a gooo oil in between. Untral mooth. All the grittiness is gone, as is the fluctuating fps numbers.
This gun is turning out to be a good shooter.
I mistakenly took this gun to be a copy of a Kral, which is a copy of an Evanix. However after searching for expl0ded drawings of all three, I have learned that it is in reality a clone of the1300.00 usd Ataman M2 Carbine. Not a bad platform at all. Only three parts are missing.
1. A washer and nut at the end for the hammer guide rod to adjust the hammer spring tension.
2. Adjustment screws for trigger take up of first and second stage. the actual trigger groups is virtually identical. And unlike the Evanix, it is a ture drop sear rater than the Evanix Rainstorm's snag sear. A huge improvement!
3. And finally, it does not have the mono core internal shroud ldc in it. But a big plus is that the barrel is actually tensioned. Rare, and very worthwhile. ;)
And a true Mono Block system at these prices? Un-heard of! It makes working on the gun extremely quick and simple. My Raptor could learn a thing or two form it.
I hope that she is not upset that I have posted my finding here on the GTA, but I volunteered to test the gun for the GTA way before Cattleman contacted me. Those that know me know that I don't sugar coat anything. Never Have, Never will. Lord knows it has gotten me in trouble more than once. ;D
Perhaps my timing has just been off when I try to contact Her.. :(

I've seen dime sized groups a 20 yards with the Milano T2, so whoever was shooting wasn't using the right pellets, or was just a terrible shot, or was unlucky and had defect.

Nice, I love my Ataman's, buttery smooth side lever, super accurate and have had zero issues with leaks or anything else for that matter. Sounds like once Knife gets the kinks worked out these will be a steal and a half for sure!!

Just put an M1 .22 in my basket just mulling the buy now button I like the furniture with adjustable cheek riser

Knife,
Not sure if this is true, but many people claim this was an open source design that they just made with better materials and machining than things like the Pishtov. And fixed little issues with the design.
Not sure about contact, I had some initially and they were really quick to reply, but after I decided to go a different way, I've had no replies from them. I sent a couple of messages trying to help them out and not even a simple reply of thanks. I don't want to see them fail, but it seems that only a few have the magic contact button lately.
I was told that they had a bank problem, the bank froze all assets and legal action was in motion, yet google brings me nothing. Maybe they have bigger issues, and maybe a bad batch of parts is a portion of those issues.
All that said, if they want to send me something to test, I'd be happy to shoot it. But for right now they have nothing I want to buy save for the M1 and that doesn't pull hard enough to cause the purchase. Maybe when they have the promised bullpups or big bores. And until then, I've stopped trying to offer suggestions, and trying to keep people on an even keel in the discussions.

I spoke with Victoria. The bank problem had to do with PayPal and their gun policy. They no longer use paypal, and had to find another way to process payments. PayPal was holding up their payments. Didn’t sound like a big issue.
Seems like a lot of people are contacting them to give advise and ask for free guns to test. They are a business and have to put their actual customers first. If you buy something from them, I’m sure you will get great customer service.
