does anyone know if i can get the sights(fiber optic) and trigger(T06) from the new 34 and put them on my 1990 model 34.
i emailed umarex and waiting to hear back about parts, but i figured i'd ask the experts here.

steve, try these guys when their site comes back up (won't load up this morning) http://www.gunspares.co.uk/ (http://www.gunspares.co.uk/)
They are an English co. that has gun and parts diagrams on their websites, they may have the new and old versions of the 34 and the drawings may lend a clue to answer your question.

The T06 trigger needs a new piston to install....quite expensive...double check about fitting to a older model...I know it fits the T05s
The fiber optic sights sorta not so good your rifle has dovetails for the globe. The fiberoptics have a bevel to locate the sight upright
let us know what UMAREX quotes you for parts pricing...you will most likely be shocked as they are quite expensive on parts unlike Crosman parts

Umarex has the T06 trigger and piston for about $120 shipped! the older Diana's have a crimped front sight grove in the barrel the T05 guns do not so you may have a problem with installing the newer factory front sight, but the trigger and piston should swap right out! :P

HAH! may as well buy a new gun, never mind,
-
Yep! :P
-
heard back from umarex...heehee front and rear sight, t06 trigger and plunger....ready? $193.00
thats funny.
-
Wow :o
Doesn't a new one cost in the 200-230 $$ range?
-
yes, but i hear they are not as good as my 20 year old AG so i'll just keep it as is. or maybe i should chop shop it and sell off the parts...
-
That's the same reason I bought a 20 year-old one, lol.
-
Correct!! Steve;
any older M34 can be bought for $100-$200 depending on the condition, of course
I bought a M34 dated 01-89 in .22 cal., TO-1 trigger for $125.00 and used some of it parts for other ones while upgrading the old one
buying parts from UMAREX can be a very expensive proposition sometimes
