Had to look it up. Its a 1961. All of them are real fine shooters. I shoot everything I got at least once a month to keep 'em in good order.

Your '61 definitely looks better than my '63. :D
I need to take her out and see if she can shoot or not.

I've been able to take pumpers that wont pump up or hold air...oil the pivots and the "o" ring on the bolt and get them to shoot fine by working with them a little. The pre '64 Sheridan was such a gun. Got it a week or so ago and its back in fine shape. Holds air, shoots all of in the reservoir and hits like Thor's hammer.

What kind of oil do you use for this?
-
I use Crosman Pel-gun oil. I dont put any of this oil in the "air hole" unless its really dry, then only a single drop. Also when you're trying to get it to catch some air, cock the bolt first. There could be just enough old oil and pressure holding the exaust valve back to let your pressure slip away. Once you get it to catch air, you can bring it back a long ways just by shooting it a couple of times several times a day or when you think about it. Worth a try anyway.

WOW.........Nice, I especially like the 140 (Complete to boot).

A beautiful collection. I particularly like the 45 revolver.

Now to you like the tootie roll for pumping. Picked a used dasiy 499 bb-shooter very accurate gun an lots of cheap shooting. But mine likes the dasiy zinc bb,s better the avanti ground bb,s. Mines also a hot shooter cronys 310-319fps. Great bb-shooter. Nice collection also.

Your '68 looks much better than mine lol.

Either the "Tootsie Roll' or the fuller forestock is fine with me. I never pay any attention to either one when I pumping up.
Thanks for all your comments and thanks for looking.

I was wondering what kind of pistol is all the way on the right in the picture above, the one that is all black? I saw similar one this morning at the pawn shop for $40, it's nice and heavy all metal springer, the guy even let me fire into the wall of his shop to test it... when he offered at it at first I thought that was crazy, but then I saw a bunch of pellet markings on the wall so I did and it sure fired nice. I would have a pic of it but didn't have my cell on me.

That is a Helathways Plainsman. A CO2 semi auto repeater. It is a great shooter but it takes the 8 gram cartridge. They're still around you just have to look for them. Shoots hard and accurate.
Thanks for looking
