Title: Bulldog quick caliber change bolt probes

One problem with doing a caliber change on the Bulldog platform is it requires almost full disassembly to remove the bolt.  Some time ago I decided I wanted to solve this problem as I have .257 and .357 barrels. 

I created a set of crayon sketches and sent them to Matt/Luge007.  Matt was able to turn my sketches into an interchangeable bolt probe system for the Bulldog, very much like what was on the old WAR guns. 

Next week I plan to install in one of my Bulldogs.  Note the .257 has a barrel mounted breech oring, the .357 is probe mounted.  Probe Pin length will be set once installed.  This system will allow for very easy caliber changes on the Bulldog.  You don't even have to split the stock clamshells.

I like it.  :)   I'd like that for the Brod 30/357 with Exclusive breech.

Very neat! Aside from the obvious faster speed, what's the advantage of changing to .257?
