Title: Benjamin/Crosman trigger mods
Post by: Limpy45 on February 22, 2021, 11:40:17 PM
I did the mod on the trigger of my new Benjamin Prowler today slightly different than some others.  Most of the videos say use a 10 mm od bearing from a hobby shop.  Well I don't have any close by, but I do have a quantity of either carbon or aluminum arrows left over from my archery days.  After closely measuring some I found that one of my carbon arrows measures roughly 8.5 mm od.  Cutting carefully with my dremel I now have a small sleeve that fits over the pin that the bearing would go over if I had one.  Turns out this gives me the trigger movement that I wanted!!  Wow!  Sometimes it pays to keep old junk that no one else wants, as I had fished these arrows out of a trash can!!  I have quite a assortment of arrows as that was my major shooting hobby for many years.  One of my sons always told people that If I had shot as many bullets as arrows I would probably be the best shot in the county!!  Not quite, but maybe in the top 10!
