Title: Looking for a GOOD video showing how to rebuild a Chinese pump
Post by: fv22 on January 29, 2021, 07:07:52 PM
Time to rebuild my chinese hand pump. Never did one so wanted to see a video on how to do it. Spent some time looking on youtube and saw nothing but garbage. Either it's in chinese or if in english it's some guy that looks like he never held a tool in his hands before.

So, if anyone has a link to a video on rebuilding a chinese hand pump that is in English and is done by someone that knows which end of a screwdriver actually can turn a screw let me know. Oh and decent quality would be nice, not having a 6 year old as cameraman would be nice too! I'm not asking for a professionally made video but man there is some garbage out there!

YouTube video called "Fix a PCP Hand Pump! -Step by Step" is a good one, in English, but it does have a kid as a cameraman so you have probably seen it. It is about the best you will find on a hand-pump teardown in English, and though not all pumps have liquid in them the one in that video does.

Thanks for the replies! I did take the pump apart this morning for rebuild. Wasn't difficult at all even without seeing a decent video. Working fine now.
