Hello, new member and first post. I'm doing some upgrades and mods to my 1377. Currently have a reflex red dot mounted on it thinking of getting a pistol scope. Would really like to find a scope made in USA. I have a BSA Edge on my LP8 and its fine however made in China.
Almost all of my shooting is done indoors at 30'. Thanks in advance.

I hate to say it but I do not think anything is made in the USA any more. >:( I do not think babies are made in the USA any more. ;D

There are a couple offerings from Leupold, but boy are they PROUD of them! Not completely certain they are American made any longer either so that may need some additional research and confirmation ;)

I found this review in a google search... might help point you in the right direction?

There are very few manufacturers in the US that produce the type of quality glass needed for optics, so sadly... most are imported. Some scopes that say they are made in the US carry optics that are imported but labeled as made in the USA because they are assembled here.

The only scopes I have used that were made in the US, were older scopes, and when I find an old Bushnell in a pawn shop, I usually pick it up (iirc, most of the old Bushnells were Japanese made, but I really like them) . I also have a few old Weavers, but I don't use any of them on airguns. To find something new made in the US, it's probably going to be very expensive- enough so that you might consider German glass instead.

Thanks everybody for your info and advise I appreciate it. I will follow up with the leads and see what I can find. I'm not opposed to buying a scope (or other products) which are manufactured in another country, unless it's China, but always prefer to go with a USA product if possible. Thanks again!

Hawke Scopes are from the United Kingdom and they have a USA presence right here in Ft. Wayne IN.
They don't even have a Distributor in China.

All Hawke scope are made in China. At least every one I have ever owned has been. All bought from pyramyd air.

You're mostly shooting ndoors at 30' and want something American made ?
To me that says William's peep sight, not Scope.

Humm....my Hawke scopes only claim "born in the UK" however the "small light print" on the side of the box show that they're made in China, probably under license with "Hawke specifications". I personally find that the Hawke scopes to be a "good value" and their customer service to be excellent, however judging from the amount of customer service needed for my Hawkes over the years I'm thinking that Hawke has a LOT of experience servicing their offerings........

Absolutely. Would go with the peep sight if I were 20 years younger. Eyes aren't what they used to be. :(

Well that's a shame.
Hopefully you can find something good.
