I picked up a .22cal Titan NP w/scope at a pawn shop in Texas.
They were asking $69.99 if I recall correctly.
I tested the trigger and discovered that it was cocked! Fortunately I was pointing it at the ceiling....no pellet in it...
(Trigger pretty nice,BTW..)
I laid 2 Jacksons on the counter along side the rifle and asked the lady to pick up whichever she would rather have..........
I left with the Titan.
Reasonable condition...a few surface rust spots, and somebody cocked it while the rear mounting screw was out of it, resulting in damage to the front mounding screw holes in the stock. (I have first-hand experience with that.....)
I know how to fix that.
First shots taken at my rifle target about 100yds away.......... I hit it! TWICE !!
Not a bad gun..
Also ran across a plastic stocked Benji of some sort....can't remember. But, the pawnbroker was proud of it......so I left it with him.
I took another run at a 2300S which I had seen back in October.
A touch beat up...dings on the breech and on barrel near the muzzle.
They said they had put a CO2 cart in it and it held air.........there was none in it now, so it probably didn't.
Still $120.00....still wouldn't accept $100.00....still there..............
