Glad I found this site.
I am not new to shooting but I am new to modern air guns. I used to do quite a bit of target shooting (45, 357, 22) and reloading. After a few years off I missed it and recently got a G1 Extreme.
Big difference from my old pump up bb guns. Lots of power which is nice as I like to shoot distance instead of close range.
Really enjoy reading all the threads on here about the different guns, mods, ammo etc. I am not much of a book reader, but I do love to read websites like this to get knowledge on my current hobbies.
Thanks for such a great site.

Welcome to GTA Forums. Glad you found us and joined up. We just a bunch of airgun nutz that really enjoy the sport. It's actually an addiction so you might want to toss that gun down and RUN as fast as you can. :o
HeeHee
Or, just box it up and ship to me for safe keeping.
Anyway, glad to have you aboard. Jump in and post often. Be sure to post pictures of your airgun adventures.
Happy Shooting!!!!

Greetings, we're glad you're here! The GTA is a great place to do exactly what you posted. Reading about airguns and talking to other owners can really give you quite an insight into the workings of guns you already own as well as helping you figure out the ones you need to buy!!! WE make great enablers, welcome to our addiction! LOL

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I'll be posting in the hunting section soon. Got a tree rat that seems to be wearing pellet proof armor or has at least six lives according to my shot count!
He'll run out sooner or later. This will be number six for the month.

Welcome. I came back from powderburners too. I shoot maybe 50/50 now. I still do action shooting and some occasional laid-back 22LR shooting, but I shoot just as much airguns now.
Don't write off the old pumpers yet though. They have a lot going for them: adequate power for back yard pest control, good triggers, good accuracy, not hold-sensitive (like springers and gas piston guns can be) and not expensive like PCP can be. I was surprised to learn that a good PCP gun can cost as much as a custom centerfire rifle rig.

Greetings and Welcome! When I was a kid, I had an old Daisy #25. Skinned a few digits.
Today, I am sooo happy to see how much the airgun has evolved. Great practice and great hunts for not much $$$ in ammo. Please enjoy, and keep everyone posted!
