Title: Pesting #66 - Farm Z and PARD update
Post by: max115 on December 26, 2020, 12:56:14 PM
Happy holidays to you all.

Here is a short video of some pestings done with my FX Impact MK2.  I made a couple of DIY mods for my PARD008 that might be useful to other PARD users.

Hope you will like it.

Great video, I tried to get a Pard but they wouldn't ship to Ca, so I got the ATN, it works great, I also use Weihrauch HW100's, I have a .20 T FSB  and a .22 Bullpup, they are both laser accurate.

 Let's see some HW action on some Rats,  ;D ;D ;D ;)

I'm not surprised you ran into the mount-offset issue with the Pard 008. I mentioned it back on your first Rat Video. I had to get some Dovetail to Weaver adapters to center the Pard over the rail and deal with Magazine Clearance.

Many Pard 008 owners agree, the mounting system is the only weakness in this unit; I hope they come up with a more effective solution in future releases.

Thanks for the idea on the Focus Ring Lever; I'm a relatively new owner and I find fumbling around for focus to be a real challenge. Many helpful suggestions from youtube worthy of consideration, hopefully a sturdy/permanent solution can be obtained.

A very helpful Video indeed..!

@kb.  My buddy has the ATN and it was too bulky and too many tech issues so I went to the PARD008 LRF.  I am quite happy with it.

@Rupert. Yes I remembered your suggestion.  I just received the adapter yesterday and hopefully will have some time to go out and capture some footages and see if the POI changes was longer distances. I was having lots of problem, especially the first night, trying to figure out all the buttons and focusing.  So this simple DIY with the zoom ring works well for me.  I just have to be careful when putting my gun away for storage and not snag off that small handle.  I am probably going to use something shorter. Thanks for watching.

@DK.  thank you.

Happy New Year everyone and stay safe!
