I first got the Benjamin xl 1100 I did a lot of research about the gun before I bought it that I soon got my purchase and began my work I put a new stoger spring in the trigger workerd out great then I ran a bore snake through the barrel until I saw no grease and blue loctite the side screws and lower trigger screw after that I bought utg high rings with hammers super mag scope 3x9x40 AO MILDOT amazing scope I began to shot and got it to hit quouter sized groups from 40 yards ...
Anyway to my point I've shot the thing over 800 times and it's still smoking I haven't ever added oil !! Never will and now I've dropped about 100 fps ? And about 3 fpe of muzzle energey ? Can someone help please

If it's still smoking, there's probably some grease migrating up to your piston seal. If you are handy, you'll need a spring compressor to disassemble the rifle and wipe excess grease off the piston seal, is this a nitro piston rifle?

So is my best bet to contact crossman and get a new one ??it's deffeintly still under warranty and thank you very much to the air gun world
