Title: Xisico gx e cs3 compressor problems
Post by: Ed24 on December 20, 2020, 07:54:15 PM
Today had a problem come up with my Xisico compressor. Let me start off by saying I really like this compressor.  I had a knock off Hatsan Spark and this was definitely a step up. Fills a bit fasrer, much quieter and just feels like a better built machine.  I purchased my Xisico compressor from Air tanks plus who I will contact tomorrow.  I've had this compressor for 4 or 5 months.  About three weeks ago came up at 65 hrs of use and went a head and changed the oil. They recommend the change to happen after the first 100hrs but I didn't want to wait that long. I removed as much oil as I could and replaced with royal purple synfilm recip 100. I have about 1hr total run time from the oil change with no issues until today. First fill of the day filling my DAR .177 from 120bar to 200bar.  While it was filling noticed it taking a bit longer to fill than usual. Just around the same time I started to smell oil so I shut it down immediately.  When I released the air from the line to disconnect from the gun, a big splat of dark gray sludgy oil came out of the air bleed tube. I'm guessing that's not good :'( looks like I'm not shooting until I get this resolved.  I should get a hand pump for back up for times like this!!!

Tom,
Don't think I did.  The fill probe was clean when I removed from the gun.  I will let everyone know what I come up with after I speak with the people at Air Tanks Plus...

Travis,
Thanks for the video.  I had watched the longer video you put out when I purchased my compressor.  When I did the oil change I did clean out the check valve under the compressor but I didn't run it to blow stuff  out. I will try this. My concern is all the dirty oil that came out of the air tube when I released pressure in the line. The clear tube on the compressor is now gray.

Mine did the same thing for a couple fills, but it cleared itself up just fine.
