Title: UPS has had my PP700 for a week now in Kentucky?????
Post by: kbstingwing on December 17, 2020, 05:52:33 PM
I bought a Onyx branded PP700 .22 from aceros-de-hispania.com last month, it shipped UPS on the 2nd of December, got held up in Spain for a week then shipped to Kentucky where it has been sitting since the 10th, it say's waiting for release from clearing agency, I figure that's Customs I suppose, I was hoping to get it before Christmas but at this pace I would be lucky to get it by Easter next year, just Joking, I hope it gets here soon, I got some mods for it I already received, would be nice to have a light weight gun for close in Rat shooting......

I had the same thing when I ordered my Xisico 705 Sentry from Mike at Flying Dragon Airguns. It was in a suburb of Chicago for 4 days and all of the sudden it was out for delivery. It is irritating, but what you gonna do?

Looks like Customs has my PP700, might be a nightmare from what I've read about, I might have to call them and find out what the problem is..... It's probably Paperwork.... :-[

Everything goes thru customs that comes from a different country. I'm sure customs is havening the same problems with covid as usps. I've been waiting on stuff going on 3 weeks and that is just crossing a few states.  :'(

Sometimes it’s no big deal and sometimes your package looks like Zorro on LSD went off on it. You chose to order from outside the United States, so this is the cross you have to bear. I just had a gun I ordered go on a complete tour of the Midwest for 5 days before it finally headed east to me. Tracking shipping nowadays is more exciting than most reality shows.

No Kidd'n! I got tired of waiting for shipments from P.A. they would sit in a warehouse 40 miles from here for a week or more. Never knew Pyramyd was a foreign company. LOL!

USPS shipping these days is all messed up, it's been compromised by our stupid government in my opinion, everything is screwed up in the country these days due to supposedly covid and political garbage !!!!

I agree with you Wayne. I see Covid being used as an excuse for years to come.  I can't understand what Covid has to do with the quality of pellets being manufactured now but I'm constantly reading where quality issues are the results of the pandemic.

Usually the shipper does not dot one I or cross one T and customs won't release it.

I bought a FX Royale from Aceros.  It was an easy purchase but mine too got held hostage by customs.  However, my gun's layover was in New Jersey.  I think it was there for just under three weeks if I remember correctly.
