Prototype one:

From debugging to rev.6 :)
-
Guess what could be a next?
-
Better carbine mount system?
-
I would start with AR-15 style pistol grip / base and go from there...anybody can lead me to a good trigger group? It looks like replacing this will effect the hammer as well.
-
I see many waiting for some numbers, so here they are for .22 Canadian version (sub 500 fps=152.4 mps or sub 5.7 joules=4.2 fpe)
First about question how long is the air tank with the new Plenum?
– I offset the plenum 10mm hole and the airtube now have a 2.5 mm clearance to the shroud and sticking out at front for 4mm. I am planning for a longer barrel anyways so this is not a concern to me.
I have drifted away from out of box conditions, my changes are below:
– polished all moving parts (cocking mechanism, sear and trigger, air vented the hammer), also the Reg bevel washers;
– replaced the original HS for reason I believe it was just way to harsh on cocking lever. Old spring 6.6×1.1×65 to a new SS spring (McMaster) 5.9×0.78×50. Now the cocking is almost butter smooth, but…
– because of a shorter spring I added a brass hammer weight 5.1 gram
I had this PP750 for couple weeks, but did the cleanup and modifications first also waited long for the new Plenum, and only Today was a very first time to air it up.
– Fillup to 250 bars
– Reg setting is factory, I mark it before taking it apart.
– Reg pressure fluctuates between 94 to 97 bar, I believe this is normal until the Reg settles.
– Crappy Crossman 14 gr domed pellets;
– factory 8" barrel, so far I didn't bother cleaning it yet;
– FX radar chrony;
– Edgun digital Reg gauge;
– shot string 15 with average speed 494 fps;
I stopped counting the shots somewhere after 30 ish +, because maxed out the hammer spring. This spring is either too soft (CS 0.78 vs 1.1) or just way to short for 15mm (50 vs 65);
I will re-do the shot counts next time I have a better spring, but anyway, a dwell time on a Reg or a HS-HW combination shall be very close (for Canadian PP750 only).
– And…the air dropped from 250 bar to somewhere about 180 bars.
I don't have numbers for out of box condition Canadian PP750, but you may have something to compare this Plenum.
More to follow when I secure couple new cans of 22's

Spoke to the machine shop, he would be willing to make more parts but group order only.
-
How many to make up a group ?
-
Would he send to UK

Start NEW thread about group buy im down for 2

I am only a designer, technical, mechanical...I work with CAD and data.
I co-owned ones a kickstarter crowdfunding project years ago and I sad never again dealing with individual emails :(

For testing purposes only I put back the original Artemis hammer spring and ran a short radar string.
With 96 bar Reg pressure the performance definitely not suitable to my local laws....removing the spring to a softer...just in case.
-
I noticed that if I single load the pellets (.22 here) the Edgun Reg gauge stays in a 99-97 bar ballpark.
If I shot a string of 7 from a mag, the Reg drops down to 94 bars.
The plenum is running hungry. Need to mod the Reg to work faster (and not harder).
Before next topup I tok the Reg apart.
The small little hole in a Reg threaded puppet have a hole of 0.52 mm I enlarge it to 0.72 mm. H da H I could measure and doit? ;)
{Next time you visit your dentist, ask the "Mr/Mss" for used disposed drills…you know those that hurts … they are using those micro sizes all the way up to 1.2 mm…scary}
Feed the Reg to be able to do the work?
Top it up, the Reg is on 160…Testing tomorrow, now is a quiet time in the house.
Also I would need a lot of spring and more spring for a valve puppet and for the hammer. I don't know yet really what this Artemis likes the most...a shorter or a longer dwell time
-
speed test for US-open market only:
I only put back the original PP750 hammer spring, valve is ported to match, turned the Reg adjusting screw CCW from 12 to 9 a clock, no other adjustments and this is it ...

I had to edit the content for illegal Country issues. PLEASE know your local and state laws!!!! We dont need our members going to prison for silly mistakes.

Yes oldpro you are right, THANKS.

The responsibility how to manage the performance within local - legal - limits comes down to a user attitude. The product development cannot control the users potential misbehaving.
This is not a game where I shall attach a bunch of bright yellow stickers saying "operating this device needs a common sense"

No the law is cut and dry. Air pistols are max 500fps in Canada.
Advertising it on an open forum is a great way to lose your rpal/pal and face felony firearm charges. Up to you though.

Since we're on the topic of Canadian laws I'm going to ask a question. Feel free to completely ignore it because it is not airgun related.
Our media here in the US is a joke so almost nobody listens to them. The problem with that is over half of us get ours news from sources that could easily be just as corrupt as our media and possibly making up stories. I'm hearing that Chinese forces have been gathering in Canada since 2019. Is there anything to that or is it just rumors?
Again, feel free to ignore this, I'm just curious if this is just made up nonsense.

I thought everyone knew it was Mexico for the Chinese.. the North Koreans are in Canada.

I know that Glem Chally and I fully agree with you, I never wanted to conflict with anybody - anywhere...
btw, would you join me to develop a product for US? Cmon' its "fun" in brackets....a first roadblock is testing and proving it - in Canada, and before shipping it across the border...

Yeah I understand, I'll pass on pp750 stuff but maybe if we/you come up with something brilliant for the impact or something haha.
And for the questions above I haven't heard/seen chinese or NK military mobilizing here. Lol I don't want that more than anyone in the US does. We're friendly here but we have a great military history up here also and fought side by side with you in both WWs, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.
(Just answering honest questions not getting politcal)
Back on track...
The pp750 is a fantastic pistol. I lent mine to a supervisor at work that was heading out to his cabin a month or so ago and he was just blown away. Hes like an ex airsoft guy so it just blew his mind.

... I'm hearing that Chinese forces have been gathering in Canada since 2019. ...
Back in 2004 it was an exodus from HK to Canada...I moved out from my neigbourhood 25 minutes North, within a couple of months a half dozen Porsche's in that my old street. 15 years later they grow that city and they got to my place again, all high-end German cars and Lexuses...you name it.
3 the best air-soft stores and air-soft playgrounds 15 minutes from my place...guess how they dress up in full gear...two of the best powdergun stores 15 minutes away again...guess...the latest and greatest on the shelf's (I am talking 15 minutes takes me to drive there on Hwy, you may need 25 ;) )
Obviously they have money, a lot of it and they don't know how to spend and showing of big time.
btw, I have read some time ago they building aircraft cariers in mass production , looks like somebody pssd them seriously ;)
