She gets 9 shelves but now I get one right by my easy chair. After I set it up she wasn’t that happy? Go figure lol

you got it backwards, you should only be giving her one shelf..

Congratulations and YOUR shelf looks awesome.

no 1 mistake I fortunately haven't made in my life along with children.

CONGRATS STEVE!
One small step for Airgun collecting...
One GIANT LEAP for MANkind!

My wife has three of the four pins on our coat tree. Its easier to jumble all my coats together than argue with her.

Congratulations on getting your own shelf.
Be careful she may use it as a way to track your airgun purchases.
Recommend rotating them so she thinks that’s all you have.
Hope this helps

I agree with dcorvino, be cautious about showcasing how many you actually own... guaranteed to work against future purchases.
I built my wife floating shelves with a catch - hidden gun storage. She loves the shelves and the internal compartments keep my pistols out of sight. Win win.
Here’s a picture of the framework during construction. With the tops on there’s just enough room for pistols and the associated gear.

Sorry about the photo, I cannot figure out how to get it to appear in the correct orientation.

Hey, you got a shelf, I got nothing!

I think it looks great. I'm jealous, but my wife gave me the top two drawers in a three drawer chest in the den. I had already commandeered the bottom shelf. But not a visible shelf. I'm proud for you and she will like it in time.

My entire living room looks more like an air gun shop than a living room. Shoebox, California Air compressor, target traps, tow 6' tables, multiple shelves, adjustable saw horses with table top, chrony and so on,.. and on,.. and on.
Red Wolf case has the entire couch, or gets displayed on the saw horse table. The Maximus is horizontally displayed by the front door for a quick shot. Red Ryder and 499 within arm's reach for indoor 24'. 1866 is bag rested atop the TV.
The wife? She went to get some milk and still is not back yet. That was 2001. ::)

We have airguns in every room of the house.... I am lucky because many of them are hers.
For example, there are 10 gun racks hanging on the walls of our living/dining/kitchen open floor plan space. There is a gun safe in the nook next to the shower in the master bath.

I have 2 bedrooms of a 3 bedroom house. One is my "Air Gun Shop". The other is Air Gun and accessory storage. ;D
-
Oh, while that may be true... it is far different from "Public Display" that Momma allows for when guests come. ;)
I have a 5 bedroom house, so now that we are "empty nesters" I have an official gun room... but I must keep the door closed. LOL ;D ;D

Nice Steve. I just recently approached my wife about a small gun rack that I could mount on the wall so I can look at some of my cool airguns. So far "a space has not been designated or located" lol

She gave me my space but was not expecting I would use it for my guns
