Much appreciated tip, Sir! And hey, if mine is one a them new grease-only versions would this still become a factor to check if mine starts slow filling?
Thanks again Travis.

These are great and very helpful. Is there plans in the near future to put out a grease to oil bath conversion video? I was on one of the early buyers from Wes who bought an oil-less version. Although he sent some guidance on how to change it over, I would really like a video to help with the process. So far I have filled my tiapan with it a couple of times but I feel uncomfortable because it is not in the preferred oil bath configuration.

I haven't been checking in for a while....too bad this problem happened to me today during my 4th fill. Compressor wouldn't go past 2000 PSI. I started with the burst disc, though I didn't think that was the issue, it was intact. Then onto the safety valve, cleaned oil from washer stack, etc., didn't fix issue. Onto the check valve. Cleaned oil from all parts, though there was hardly any and certainly nothing compared to the video, reassembled and "presto" works like a champ!
If anything, this sudden issue forced me to pull the covers off because oil was leaking from behind the cover around the on/off switch. I had it partly on its back initially, but couldn't believe that led to the oil leaking out that much. I thought I was "toast" cause there was a large pool of oil covering entire top of the switch and I could see some around on the compressor housing. So I cleaned it all up and started it with cover off to see if/where it was leaking. Nothing! So, I put the cover back on and started on the check list mentioned above.
Now since my unit was one of the first ones Travis had sent out, with oil in it, mine arrived with oil having leaked out into the plastic bag covering the unit. It probably was not kept upright during shipment. I thought I'd cleaned all the oil off from under the covers on all sides. So I'm dumbfounded where this oil came from, and I can't imagine if it had been there since it's arrival. Why hadn't I sen it till now? A "Mystery" for sure. So now I will have to go and make sure the oil level is still okay. Hmmm.
Travis, in your video you mention calling you when there's a problem. Is there a contact number?

+1 Thanks for the maintenance video Travis!
