Title: BSA red dot on PC77
Post by: LeadHead on September 13, 2011, 07:35:05 PM
Just thought I'd let you know my red dot showed up on the fed x truck from Pyramid yesterday. Read the instructions and cleaned up the steel breech and rail of red dot with alcohol and put some blue locktite on. Today I tried her out at 35 feet at which my desired shooting distance was going to be. The size of the dot at 1 was just perfect in the bright sun, no problems. The only problem, which really wasn't a problem, was adjusting the windage in the right direction, as the elevation was just right. The mfr., which is BSR/Gamo, had the direction on the turret reversed. I was adjusting to put the dot to the right when in fact it was going left. LOL. Now it is dead on with final 3 shots in a dime size dead center. As I mentioned, this is going to be my short range Mini-Me, leaving my other weapons of "mass destruction for longer distances". I am extremely pleased this worked out just perfect and for the first time Crosman has let me down by promising me a LPA MIM sight which never came into stock. But that's OK. We all make mistakes, but Pyramid won it for my day. HOSPS BEWARE!!!

FYI- the shoulder stock is an extra part in the accuracy of my Mini-Me.
