I have a Kral puncher but no chrony. I am wondering how much of a difference in fps you get between the lowest and highest power adjustments on the rifle. Sounds different but wondered if anyone had an idea of how much difference there is. I do know that for plinking I get a lot more shots at the lower power level.

What caliber? With an average weight 18gr in 22 or 25gr in 25 low should be 350ish 800ish on high.

It is a 22. Exact velocity will vary with the pellet but I was wondering if you subtracted the low velocity from the high, what would be the difference? Sounds like more than 400 fps. No wonder I get so many more shots on the low power setting. That is more than enough for target shooting in the 30 ft range in my basement.

My curiosity has been satisfied. I got one of the really inexpensive chinese chronys ($25) and tested it out on the Kral.
Starting at 200 barr pressure with wadcutters.
There are 5 small tic marks on the power indicator.
With the setting at each one I measured the fps.
With 1 and 2 there was no difference --- 530 fps
on 3 --- 694 fps
on 4 --- 811 fps
on 5, the max level --- 840 fps.
For rabbits and squirrels I would rarely have to go beyond 3 at the ranges I typically shoot them (40 ft or less).

Yep, a chrony is essential equipment wit a pcp. Linki for such an inexpensive chrony?

Price went up since I got mine about a year ago.
Still pretty cheap.
