Title: need help: which adaptor for pcp compressor
Post by: kevin1 on November 01, 2020, 11:08:04 PM
I've just bough my first PCP (BSA R-10 SE) and the Benjamin traveler compressor.

Can you please let me know what adaptor I need to fill the gun?

This is what you need to adapt a fill probe.

Thanks,
This is what I ordered yesterday. I think it's the same.

That should do it, when tightening down best to get tight enough to not leak, but not crush that plastic washer to tight that it blocks airflow.

Thanks so much for this reply.
I spent a good amount of time figuring out why the rifle is not filling.
Then I read your post and figured out that it's because it's not tight enough....

One more thing.
I just ordered this tank. What adapter do I need to buy to charge the tank?

The tank will have a male foster fitting like what is on the probe adapter. One question what source are you using to fill it ? If a PCP compressor or paintball shop they will have the female foster fitting.
If other place it may vary.

OK I re read your OP, yes the Traveler is all good, will leave my post as is for others planning on a charging system.

I received the tank today and was able to fill it to 4500 psi.
After refill, I noticed some water that I had to purge by opening the hand wheel. Is that normal? Anything else I should do before filling the gun with the tank?
