Title: HW100 Beeman Vs. Weihrauch?
Post by: Hangtown-Shooter on October 20, 2020, 04:30:19 PM
Can someone enlighten me as to any difference’s between the Weihrauch version and the Beeman version of the HW100?

I have the opportunity to possibly purchase the Beeman .22 that Paul Capello reviewed for P.A. back in 2011 and trying to determine if it’s worth the asking price...

Barrel lengths between Carbine and Full size ... not sure but perhaps some stock shape differences ???

same mechanics ... There BOTH HW100's

9 years old ... going to need a total reseal, reg included to work as it should.

Thanks Scott!

I think I’ve already talked myself out of it... and you just helped me feel good about passing on the deal ;D

I will likely spend the extra few hundred on one of those Daystate Revere’s unless I find a killer deal on something lightly used and equally as nice.

How much is he asking if you don’t mind me asking?  A reseal shouldn’t cost more than 10$ and can be done with a set of Allen keys ( metric of course) have a look at the price of a new one before you turn it down . You may be able to flip it for a couple bucks. I am in the process of doing exactly that but right now it is looking more and more like a keeper. These are great rifles although not very powerful in comparison to what’s available . I think they are happy up to 20fpe .

Watching the video just now , it’s the updated ( MK2 ) version . Different shape for the stock, fill probe , threaded insert in action for the tube to thread into and a shrouded barrel. Nice rifle for sure , I’d pay 4-500 USD if it holds air and has a decent stock without too many dings. It’s virtually the same design as the new from factory minus the strangled valve poppet.

The seller is asking $1100 shipped/insured. He claims it is in like new condition and is his most accurate HW100 he has owned which is why he has kept it.

I wasn’t willing to pay that in cash, but I was considering making a partial trade...

That’s too much money. You can get a brand new , never fired for less. https://www.airgunforum.ca/store/product_info.php?cPath=22&products_id=248 (https://www.airgunforum.ca/store/product_info.php?cPath=22&products_id=248)

That’s in CAD , so it comes to 971.00 US plus shipping .

Ya some of us , have a real hard time letting go. Shoot I was trying to sell a ten plus year old Windy City for 800$ CAD . It was worth it to me because I wanted it so bad when I bought it. Now it just sits there . But it sure is pretty. :p
