like to shorten first stage trigger on my new tx200. I tried 1 turn adjustment on c screw and made the second stage too harry HELP

Try turning out both screws until the gun no longer fires. Turn the first stage in until you get it where you want it. Now turn the rear screw in until you have the second stage you want. i adjusted c and it lighten the second stage pull which i don't wanna do

what would happen if you tighten screw c and loosened screw b to shorten the first stage of the trigger

OK from what I remember from having my TX's and Pro Sports is the first screw is the first stage adjustment IIRC? the 1 behind it is the second stage screw adjustment, and the screw at the back end is the over all pressure adjustment, adjusting the first screw in wards should push the trigger blade reward removing all the take up reward, the screw behind it should be ur second stage adjustment, screwing it inward short ins the second stage and so theirs very little movement reward before the second stage breaks, the back screw should give u a pressure adjustment for the over all feel on how hard it is to pull the trigger, now if I have told u correctly? their is now several ways to adjust this trigger unit to get possibly what u want out of it? I usually adjust my triggers so I have a long first stage travel, this is done by adjusting the 1st stage screw out wards, until I have the desired travel I want, then I adjust the 2nd stage screw so it has a lite but solid wall the trigger stops on but it doesn't take much pressure to break it thru, then I adjust the pressure screw to give the over all balance on the pressure, if u don't want that type of trigger? u can try to adjust the 1st stage screw out wards so it does not contact the sear lever, at this point the trigger blade should have a lot of back and forth movement, now by adjusting the 2nd stage screw in wards will remove the travel of the 1st stage and short in back up so ur only using the second stage screw to trip the sears, be careful doing this because if put to much pressure on the sear with the second stage screw the gun will fire when u push off the safety! theirs a reason for these triggers being a 2 stage design, the 1st stage is suppose to raise the sear lever to help set the 2nd release to make it easier, then u have the pressure setting in the 3rd screw, I hope this all makes since? 8)

My second stage is perfect. All i want to do is make my first stage 1/16" long, don't ike a long first stage. My question is if i tighten screw c (in) and loosen screw b (out) will that shorten my first stage. I'm using the screw letters that is listed in the manual cba

Their is a balance between the 2 screws 1st and 2nd stage if you adjust 1 of the 2 you will have to readjust both of them again to get what u want! if you turn in the 1st stage screw in it should reduce its travel but you will need to readjust the 2nd stage to compensate, for the travel, u may also need to turn the 2nd stage screw in as well, this should reduce the trigger travel, but keep in mind you can only add so much 2nd stage adjustment, to much and the safety will not engage or pop out like it should! 8)

You said the TX was new.
I think you should shoot it 1000 times then think about adjusting things.
The first weekend I owned my TX (2013) I shot it 750 times.
Then I gave it to motorhead who put one of his DELRIN spring followers in.
He tuned the trigger.
That was 15,000 trigger pulls ago...
