Well i recently picked up a nitro venom and I love it so far but i was wondering how long the break in process usally takes on nitro pistons? Also what kind of groups are you guys getting with it now?

Hey there young lad! How's my old phantom stock doing?;)
Mine took about 150 rounds before it started to settle down. I'm getting around 5/8" groups @ 30yds w/CPHP's.

Hi Break in seems to be a big variable. It depends a lot on how generous the assembly guy or girl was with the lube.
Cleaning the barrel helps. Get some weed wacker string and make a cleaning rod.
Take a length about 1 1/2 times the length of the barrel. Melt one end into a ball and the other warm a section near the end and pull the hot plastic apart and trim the pointy end. This will allow you to push the pointy end through a patch and pull it through the barrel.
You don't really need a brush in the barrel. a solvent like Goo Gone is good enough.
Try different pellets to find a brand/style that gives good enough accuracy.
Good luck and have fun.

Well i already cleaned it with pacthes and a cleaning rod. And im trying different pellets but it seems to be settiling down.
