Made Member a couple weeks ago so I thought I would try to step it up one more notch. I believe this is probably the limit of my Hajimoto Gauntlet .22. It drops a foot at a hundred yards no matter what ammo you use--I was shooting off my fourth milldot. I shot JSB 14.35, 15.89 and 18.1 domers. The 15.89's is what I went with. Hope I measured the group right...
It was calm and humidity was 70%. I am in Florida at dang near sea level. I just use a homemade sandbag and a couple of foam cushions they have at the range. I shot 6 targets and this was the only one that got all five in the ring--the rest were close but no cigar.
I included a picture I took of the side by side drop comparison between the three pellets just for the heck of it. I put the crosshairs right on that little red dot for all the shots. The numbers there are the exact weight of the pellets in grams. You can see the results. At 50 yards my rifle shoots flat as a pancake. Huge difference 50 yards makes!
