Regarding this brilliant design of Bob's,

Anybody have any idea what it would take in time and effort to do this? I think it may be the most perfect hunting design short of going with a PCP, at least at the lower speeds.

I gave the drawing to a chap in Ontario, Canada and he was going to make up kits for conversions.... I don't think he ever finished them, at least I have never seen them advertised....
I've used pump tubes and linkage from both the 2200 and the 1400 and I find that the 1400 is heavy and hard to pump.... I prefer the 2200 tubes.... As you can see, there are quite a few mods necessary to do the gun the way I did.... You can do a few shortcuts, but you will lose pump stroke and it will take a pump or two more to get the same results.... I mean if you really want to, you can just use a 1377 or 2289 and you can accomplish the same thing at 50% more pumps than what I got....
If I can offer any advice, just ask, and I'll do my best to help you out....
