Title: Kudos to Motorhead Again
Post by: Yarddog on September 11, 2020, 11:12:38 PM
When I got my LGU, I contacted Scott about possibly getting a tune on it. He told me that the LGU is so good out of the box, that I would likely not need a tune, unless it began to twang or vibrate.

After a few hundred rounds,  it did so. I hit the spring with Tune In A Tube. Problem solved...for another few hundred shots. Then the twang returned. Same solution. And it happened again.

So off to Scott it went, and came back today. Everything was better! The shot cycle, previously excellent, was more better. Even the trigger, which was great, was now excellent!

This is the fifth or sixth rifle that he's touched. I can recommend his services without reservation...he more than delivers, charges a highly reasonable rate, is honest, is straightforward., and turns them around within just a few days! He doesn't blow smoke up my wazoo, and if there's a problem with the rifle,  provides options!

So, Scott, my Santa Rosa R1 will be in the tube that we've been using shortly! Thanks for being there! Then, perhaps my R9!

Dittos, across the board.

Just received back my HW77K. I'd also sent a Rowan setback trigger and cocking handle with it for him to install.
Fantastic communication, and I was flat shocked at how quickly he got it all done. Even returned the OEM parts he'd changed-out.

Agreed, Scott is wonderful!  Please tell us more about the "tube" that you mentioned.

Its just a simple 4 inch shipping tube with cushioning and shipping tape! I don't ship the stock.
