Don't think vertical stringing was cant...

Things i've seen for vertical...
breathing...
inconsistent loading of the shoulder pressure into the rifle...
follow thru on shot...

I'd probably at this point limit changes to rifle and test after each change say at 50 yards.....then you could zero in on what made biggest difference.

Good results however...I'm still deciding .25 or .22....probably .22 (I have a Marauder .25 that really shoots good)

Nice tear down video ... I would bet if he had tightened up the pic rail , and the  barrel band  his groups would have tightened up several of us have these  loose out of the box ,causing POI change ...

Yes, another great video. Can’t wait to see the stock he makes for this one.

Did you use the original barrel band or switch to the one from the Nova?  I would not use the one that came on the Avenger for safety reasons. Probably replace the tube or the whole gun as a last resort. I gotta admit, those garfs on 4000 plus Psi air tank scare the cr#p outta me! Great video!  Lots of info.

I'm glad Stephen made the video, it going to save me some money.😁 I'll stick with my Liberty and just complete the Duy mods by getting a new plenum. It was the cheapest rifle I've bought at$120 shipped from dary boy used and it's my favorite of them all. Sumatra .25 has way more power but has the korean cliff. My Aspen isn't as powerful as my liberty but doesn't need a compressor and was my first PCP.

Very well done!  Another informative video from Stephen.  I was waiting for info on the Avenger internals.  :)   It was great to have someone that was very familiar with the Liberty, too.

Disappointed to see the same poppet.  I think we will start to see some leaking issue at 6 months to a year.  Also looks to take a bit more effort to dis-assemble and change.

As pointed out, don't particularly like the die cast receiver and grub screws into air tube.  We'll have to see how they hold up.

While it is the same poppet as the Liberty, the valve is now SS vs brass and looks like the seat (sealing surface) is thicker/wider.  The Liberty valve was easily damaged by any debris, and the wider seat will slow how quickly the soft poppet will deform and start hitting the metal can.   The poppet should hold up longer than Liberty.  I'd still get a delrin or peek ready to replace it.  ;)

John if duy makes them for the Avenger I'll buy one from him because those peek poppets really perform let alone seal very well.

Hey Pat, Thank you for posting the video. That Barrel Band gouging the Air Tube is very concerning. I just contacted Kee Keat Tan via email. I'll let you know if I hear back from him

All the best!

No, Thank You Stephen for the time & effort you put into your instructional videos. I know they have helped a lot of us on the forum. I'm almost tempted to try & make a nice wood stock for my Avenger. Back when i was reloading for my pistols i made 25 rounds for my 45 ACP to test a different bullet weight. The brass was brand new from Winchester. To make a long story short, the gun blew up in my hand. I got home & pulled all the remaining bullets to check the powder charge & they were fine.  I then looked at the rest of the new brass & out of 75 cases i found 4 that had 1/4in splits in the sidewalls from the manufacturing process. Needless to say i always checked new brass after that! My point is to let us always error on the side of caution & be safe in our hobby.
