Just ordered this off Amazon! If this crono works like I think it will with pellets this will be HUGE!!!

Here’s the unit. I’ll make adapter for 1/2-20
ACETECH Lighter BT Airsoft Gun 14mm/11mm Pistol Tracer Unit/Chronograph Glow in Dark https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07R4RZN88/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_z2lvFbV2P7KE0 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07R4RZN88/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_z2lvFbV2P7KE0)

Interesting. Were you able to find and velocity specs on this? A lot of airsoft chronos won't go as high as needed for pellets. Let us know how it works.
-
Looks like it requires red or green tracer BB's to work as a tracer illuminator. I have no idea the average velocity of air soft, but I agree with Doug, I'm betting it's much lower than the average air gun.
-
I use their other air soft chronograph now for my pellet gun so I’m hoping it works as well. I’ll let you know it will be here Wednesday
-
The video is worth a watch. Pretty awesome. It is amazing that the tracer balls can pick up enough light to glow in flight,... with only a millisecond exposure to bright light from the unit. First I have seen of this,.. even it has been out awhile. Not an air soft guy.
-
Tested today all the way up to 1100 fps and never missed a beat! Going to put it inside a LDC and have ready for all my guns with 1/2-20 threads!!! Pictures coming ASAP.
-
Wait.... it's Wednesday already?..... ??? :-[ ;D

Amazon Prime! Showed up this morning

Laser light is never bending, only dispersing with distance. SO, the light bouncing off the projectile created by said laser only does so while projectile is in level flight with the light beam. Which really won't be that far being air soft as well pellet rifle projectiles are only in level flight no more than 20 yards or so being +/- apex of flight path.
Be FUN, but am missing the realistic application tho ???

I have no use at all for the laser Im using it only as a chronograph mounted LDC that permanently attached to the gun I take in the field with me. So far works darn good, Im making a ldc that it will slide into right now.

I went LabRadar for detailed info.
I'd think about painting pellets with something to reflect a light if I hadn't had an "experience" in the past.
I'm talking about the glow in the dark pellet thing.

Ok here’s the mounted LDC Bluetooth chronograph in action!
-
I kinda like the bluetooth chrono part. I have no use for the bling bling laser thing.

DITTO!

I went through my laser phase. Didn't take long to figure out they are virtually useless on a pellet gun.... unless maybe if your parameters NEVER change.
-
Here’s my mini Raptor and I knew I had to much free flight and it was causing erratic fps swings but here’s a glimpse of the data from the BT LDC
-
Just a note 📝 their are two screw on end caps one is plastic and one solid aluminum, you will not get the Chronograph to work with the alloy end cap on it blocks the signal. This is not in the manual just a frustrating thing I worked threw. Also in the app you must switch the toggle to SPEED to get Chronograph to work also.
-
Okay, I'll bite!
I can't understand why it took so long to make these!
Does anyone know what kind of paint to spray on the back of my pellets?

Very Kool, I assume the chrony function works in any lighting condition?

Doesn’t need any light source. Can be shot in pure darkness.
-
There’s some cool information screens in the app and you can store all your strings as well.
-
Nice work! I could see one of these in my future possibly.
-
I could almost see one.... if not for that fact that all guns do not have the threaded barrel nor an easy way to adapt it.

I'm looking for a 11 or 14 mm adapter.

DonnyFL makes tons of 1/2-20 adapters

Very few of my guns have removable muzzle breaks or threaded barrels of any kind.
I doubt I would be interested in modifying each to use this. So then I have to think.. is it worth the cost for me?.... probably not.
Most, if not all of my guns are sub $300. It would be a different story if I owned the 'big boy toys'... ;)
That said, it's more and more becoming a desire of mine to own 'just one' higher end gun. That could only happen if I could sell enough of what I have now. Selling sub $300 guns is a slow process.... unless I want to lose my shorts.... :(

From what I see in the photos it looks as if you simply found a tube that would be a snug fit around the chrony, added some baffles and a plastic end cap on one end, & let the chrony's female threads line up at the other end.
Is that pretty much correct?
Is the chrony secured in the tube?

Only when I'm on the GTA forum.

I didn't find the app in Google play store. What app did you use?
-
OK, I had to logout, and in again to find it.
It gave the option to upgrade the app, have you tried it?
It allows me to enable speed, and disable lighting.

The machining on this is very good. It has a 14 mm threaded adaptor, and a 11 mm threaded adaptor.
