Warner Robins, GA.  Popped my first Nutter this fall.  The nerve of him, to sit on my backstop eating an acorn.  Just need to find time to go out and really hunt.

Being i'm the Starter of this thread, i'll revive it.  I have a good area in my back yard now, of which to shoot.  can reach out to 30-40 yds.  not quite Gene's place out in SC, but it will work.  I'm local in Warner Robins.  if anyone wants to come shoot the @#$! on the weekend, send me a PM.

I have been pre-occupied with taking a whole year to move into the new house.  Well, I've taken care of a few this fall. Now that I've got 5 acres, I'm trying to figure out how to set up both an airgun range and a powder burning range.  Thank goodness i've move out of the WR city limits.  So many things to do..........

Howdy all! I'm residing on lake Sinclair near Milledgeville and good at it!! lol  Finally getting my first air gun, a silent cat, dialed in after about a year, a Tuna trigger, a tune, a good scope, finding the right pellets, fitting the gun to short me......1500 or so shots of practice....and I would have never been able to do it without the information found on GTA. If I can help, just ask! ;D

I have an aunt that lives in Douglasville but I don't get up that way too often. My back yard can get about 25 yard shot but that's it. Love to try that Mrod!

Yeah, 25 yards is a piece of cake for a Mrod. I have about 70 yards here. If there is a WMA near by, we can always go there.

Blackdisel is in Lithonia, Georgia, near Stone Mountain. I don't know him personally, but he is very active on all the forums that I participate. We have exchanged some pm about meeting up for shooting, but we never followed up.

WMA is Wildlife Management Area. Some of them have shooting ranges. I have a 100 meters shooting place near my house. It cost $6/hour

Do a Google search "wma shooting range"

J.C., which wma range is close to you?

I don't have anything really close to me. There is a place in temple that has 25, 50, and 100 meters targers. $6/hour. As far as WMA, Chestnut Mountain Range, Clybel WMA Shooting Range, Wilson Shoals WMA Shooting Range.

Kind in between our houses, there is West Point WMA Shooting Range
