Title: Anyone get an email with subject: "Please reactivate your Krale.shop account"?

I got an email with links to mailchi.mp and shop.us10.list

Why ask me to sign in to reset my password?  Surely any changes to the system can be handled the next time I buy something.

Sent email to info@krale.shop asking if this was legitimate. 

Smells phishy; despite using my full name...

One clue is that the site seems to have split into regions, with one for the US also, reached directly by going to krale.shop/:   https://www.krale.shop/us/ (https://www.krale.shop/us/)

NEVER use the embedded link in an e-mail. ALWAYS go to the site the normal way and sign in. Any information that needs to be updated will show up there. Many times these e-mails are legit, but many times - SCAM! Also, check the full header for suspicious addresses.

Header IP points to "rocket science group, LLC" in Atlanta.

Ask me to visit:  www. krale.shop/us/how-to-reactivate-your-krale-account?  ( put in a space after www. to break active link)

Looks like it may be part of splitting Krale into regions.  I can wait till I hear from Krale NL.  They seems to take a few days to answer email.


My reason for posting this, is if it is a scam, to help others avoid it.

I got the email too. Didn't open it just in case... Thanks for taking the leap, nice to know it's legit, fact is I'd long forgotten I'd ever registered with Krale lol.

So glad it's legit. Too many scams to take a chance these days. And easy enough to bypass the link and go straight to the site.

Given the odd links provided in the initial message, I would certainly have suspected that it was a scam.

I got it and deleted it.  I've bought some half-dozen rifles from Kale.  They'll know who I am when I place any next order. 

ITMT, they ain't got much HW inventory?  Why is that, the Netherlands is right next door to Germany?

Probably because the Germans take August off and the blanket excuse:  Covid.

Good that you posted that email image. I know Jaron at Krale. He's helped me out with many special requests and queries.

I would also have first thought it to be a scam, but good to know that yours was not.

That being said, it would not surprise me if ANY email from (supposedly) ANYONE was a scam. I get them all the time, and as others have said, if the email presents that there is an issue with your password, or any other issue, go to a separate window or browser and login to check your status. If all appears to be good in that venue, then search that site (let's say eBay for instance) for a phishing report link and forward the email to them. They need to know about these things.

I received the same email and reset my password. Since doing so I have been unable to login using either the new or old password. Tried to reset my password and was told I would receive an email to do so. Email never came, going on a week. Tried again this morn, no email yet.

Anyone else have this problem? Anyone logged on successfully since resetting your password?

I see no need to reset my password ahead of trying to buy something from Krale.

Should I go through the motions of purchasing something, then the money being held up should be motive enough for Krale to fix whatever problem I am having.  I would just email them at such a time and see what happens.

Or you could email them now.  They may not care too much about helping you immediately, unless you were trying to spend a few hundred bucks...

I just looked back on my old emails and indeed I did get that message on 09/02. I then tried to login to Krale through my regular browser (Firefox) but was denied, so I went back to that email, went through the procedure and reset my password.

All appears now to be good, but have no idea why they would request the reset unless they thought they may have been hacked, and are looking out for us.

I think it's legit, but have no explanation for it.

The only thing that seems new, is that Krale have expanded their site in multiple regions, where US customers now shop via a US based web-site.    My password reset link points to the US web-site, not the Dutch one.

Yes, I did notice that there is now a US site (on the drop-down meu), whereas before, I had to use the UK site for English language.

I emailed Krale yesterday and can now login to the US site. Checked my order history and it is blank!  I have been buying from them since 2015, thousands of $$, gone. Explained this to the "chat" lady Berrith who sent me 6 Invoices, which was all they had on me and 2 of those were for a free warranty part. I have placed 15-20 orders since 2015 so this not even close. Hopefully they are in the process of fixing this.

All those that care might want to check your order history.

Short answer from me John is YES. Faster shipping by far. Same item. AND, cheaper prices!!

The only argument I've read for ordering from AoA or PA is that they are here in the US, and can handle warranty issues better.

But when was the last time you ever had to return an HW product (which is about all I ever order from Krale)?

I get it.

As soon as I'm paid for in the D54 .177 Air King Pro I'll be looking to buy straightway from Krale for another .25 HW98!  Gad I love that caliber and what it does in ANY rifle!
