Title: NOE 217-24-RF
Post by: Wayne52 on August 26, 2020, 06:11:39 AM
I have cast thousands of pellets from this mold and I cast up another 352 of them this time.  I'm readying myself for more chrony work and shooting these puppies
from a gun that the brown truck is bringing to me today which is the new Benjamin Cayden.  I'll be doing some chrony testing today with them and head for the
woods tomorrow morning cause it's going to be another hot one by the time the gun gets here probably but I just may get out in the heat today too.
I only had three rejects from this run too which is pretty darned good for a total of 348 good ones

This mold has paid for itself several times over simply because they're a fantastically accurate pellet.  I even designed a new lable for tins for it as well.

nice job wayne. i like the new label. simple yet effective. I've been working on label design for myself as well. just need to get a pic of my pretty slugs to finish the label for them.

That was the last mould I received. I've cast maybe a 💯 but have only shot a couple over the crony. The mould really casts them fast after I polished up the base pins so smooth my old man fingers had a problem picking them up. 👍

here is my take on my slug label
Downloaded! Thanks I'll have to mod it to reflect the weight of the slug and pellets.

here is my take on my slug label
Very nice Dan !!!  I use glossy paper and "3M SUPER 77" spray on glue that I got at Lowes, pretty good stuff.  My printer is out of yellow right now and my label's would have had a more gold look to the brass mold.

wayne that is an awesome idea. don't know why that didn't occur to me. was going to get some of the avery sticker labels with 6 - 3" circles per sheet. regular glossy paper and spray glue would work just as well.
