been having a great time plinking and pesting with my three pumpers. doesnt seem to matter whether it is my non powered up 1377/1322, or my powered up 1377. these guns shoot great! im kinda partial to my powered up 1377 though... it was my first full mod and it turned out pretty sweet. one thing i will say is that all three of these guns are dialed in really well and their accuracy is exceptional, much more than i ever expected from a pellet gun at the ranges i shoot.
i bought this new 1077, but havent had it out but one time since i got in to these pumpers. next weekend though i plan to take it out and finally get it sighted in now that i have the old AS adapter salvaged and working and can use bulk tanks in it again. should be a fun time 8)

I had a modded 1377, flat top piston & valve + valve mods, 14" barrel, steel breech & extended bolt probe, carbine stock and it was scoped. The thing was like a laser out to 20 yards and was the bane of every chipmunk in sight.

Glad for you Spooner, I totally understand what you mean! I have 3 1377, and they've all been excellent shooters. I've shot my first, bone stock 1377 up to 35 yards and got 1'' groups regularly. These pistols don't seem to be affected by the ''barrel lottery syndrome'' commonly seen on other Crosman airguns. It's quite gratifying to know in advance that every pump will contribute to an accurate shot. Keep having fun :D.

Yep, enjoy them as long as you can. My only suggestion is that you stay away from the GTA (this forum). There is something evil in the air here. Soon you will begin to itch. It's an itch that can only be scratched by buying new guns and exploring new platforms. It begins with something as simple and harmless as a C02 cartridge or a Bargain Gate $50 break barrel. The idea of pulling that trigger after only one cock of the barrel or one pull of the bolt as opposed to pumping 5 - 10 strokes is an unrelenting pull at your wallet. And when you finally cave in it won't be long before the call from the "Darkside" begins to keep you from sleeping at night....
BTW.... welcome to the GTA.

A while back I bought a 1077 AS adapter from a member here. Definitely a fun time. Had to triple my pellet order.
If you go chasing rabbits..and you know your going to fall. Tell'em Crosman has given you the call......

Yes, welcome. Some truth too this. After a lifetime of shooting air guns for me, hubby and I recently bought our very first CO2 gun in a Crosman 2300S. All I can say, is "Wow! Why did I wait so long?"

Robert,
I believe you caught a case of pump fever! :o
Lol, me too.... 4 880’s, 1 1377, 1 397, and 2 392’s... love em all! :D
Hhmmm...something’s missing. Oh snap, I need a 1322 to go with the 1377 ;) 8)

yep, all three of mine whether modded or not are like that too. good solid and consistent groups every time. i dont even worry about missing the intended targets anymore... just point, set the crosshair, and pull the trigger. bingo every time. 8)

i didnt have much luck with the Crosman 1322 14" barrel but the 10" barrel on my original was really decent with the stock open sights. in the end, i went LW 14.5" barrels on the 1322 and both 1377's and i will never regret it. those barrels are scary accurate at the 21 yard range i have them set to. if i could find a LW barrel for my 1077 repeat air... i would change out the stock barrel in a heartbeat. ;D

Thanks Bill ;D. i actually looked at the PCP and the break barrels originally... very nice and i almost did it, but... a bit too pricey for me to go for and way too much over kill for what i need. hahaha, no, no evil lives in this forum. addiction yes, and i may need to enroll in AA (airgunners anonymous) before its over, lol ;). i can see the conversations in that circle now... "i dont know why i shoot Mt. Dew cans?" "something about that red on a green and silver can that makes me completely lose it". "no, i dont need help!" :o

I havent touched my salvaged AS adapter since that thread i posted on the darkside. to be honest, it makes me a little nervous after all the tanks i lost testing seal sizes and types, but when i go to finally sight in the scope on my 1077, i will have to use it. i just need it to last long enough to get that done. after that, if it keeps on going great, if not i have plenty of extra seals to keep it going until i use up all these other bulk tanks i have.

there is definitely a wow factor involved with Co2 and just being able to pull the trigger. pop in a clip, 12 shots, semi automatic and smile ;D. i remember how much fun i had with my old original 1077 from years ago. i wish i had done more learning on the proper care and maintenance of it, because it was my fault if deteriorated over the years that it st locked up in a gun cabinet untouched. i was pretty frustrated with this new one, the one time i took it out. i couldnt get a decent grouping to save my life. nothing like what i had with my original. i now have a CP 3-12x44 PLT scope on it which are working out great on my 1322 and my modded 1377, and gonna try the super point pellets which seem to be working out extremely well in two out of three of the 13xx guns. i still have the destroyers to try if needed and some gamo rockets, but i think the super points are gonna do the trick. maybe i can get that big smile back with it. 8)

oh yes, if youre gonna have a 13xx collection... gotta have at least one 1322 ;). what did it for me was the simplicity of these 13xx guns. this 1377 mod project was and exercise in learning and it taught me just how easy these guns are to work on and maintain. i ended up with an awesome modded 1377, but i now know how to work on all of them. 8)

My 1377 is awaiting a re-build. I think I'm going to start with a steel breech and turn it into a carbine. I've hotted up my 2100 a little bit though it still needs some trigger work. But my pride and joy is my Crosman 1400. Re-sealed with a Mac1 piston it makes about 14fpe from 10 pumps and is wickedly accurate. I am a serious muzzle loader shooter. Shooting a pumper at a relaxed pace takes about the same time, effort, and degree of concentration as shooting a muzzle loader. Just something to think about the next time you go hunting with a pumper. ::)

When I got my first 1377, I wasn't sure how I'd feel about turning a pistol into a carbine? After I did it, I had to do them all, lol. In either form they are awesome, but having the additional control that the stock option offers makes thes guns even better. Also, they just look really awesome in carbine. 8)
I couldn't get interested in hunting years ago when I had a CVA inline, but it was fun to shoot. Im a pinker mostly with some pesting here and there. ;)

I grew up shooting pumpers... Mainly Crosman 2100/2200 a few 880s and Benjis... then life happened and got away from it for some years... Then about 2012-2013 was given a 1985 Daisy 953... well that was it for me...it lead to building a small fleet of 13xx and 13xx hybrid pumper carbines... even a .25 caliber( modded 2100 pump tube)... mostly with modded stock crossman parts (no flat top pistons and valves just pump cup)...then switched getting some PCP... and then molds to run home cast pellets and boolits...No A.A. for me I see no reason to quit.. ;)
I do love pumpers and the 13xx platform well it does lego and mods very well.. as well as just at stock... tis my fav pumper platform...want to change back and forth from .177 to .20 to .22 well it is just a matter of barrels and bolt swap...My .25 needed a shim under the steel breech and a modded barrel band... Light, easy to take down for backpacking and accurate...mild to wild...custom or stock... what is not to love...
