I have the UTG TL-BP01-A Recon 360 Bipod. And like some others, I started to experience tension adjustment issues re: the swivel/pan head not tightening up as before and bipod pivot starts to droop during use. The adjustment "lever" has a small allen screw and the lever seems to be capped. I removed the screw in hopes of being able to remove the lever and reposition it so I could increase the degree of tightening. Unfortunately, the lever will not come off the shaft (or whatever) it's connected to. The cap will not come off either. I tried prying the lever off from underneath but it wouldn't budge.
Anyone have this bipod and have any success with increasing the tension adjustment, removing the lever? My next step is to call Leapers but I have a feeling they'll tell me to send it in.
Too bad cause it's barely 2 months old with little use. :(

Have the same bipod with the same issue as you. Like yours, mine has only seen light usage. It has worked OK from the bench and in the field. But I decided to go with an Accu-Tac BR4 G2 bipod. Much pricier and doesn’t pan (I don’t miss it), it is rock solid in comparison.

I figured out the "fix" but posted in wrong "Gate", here's the link.https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=177684.msg156013278#msg156013278 (https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=177684.msg156013278#msg156013278)

Addendum To Post:
UTG contacted me and told me that they used glue on threads to secure the cap. He told me to apply heat to loosen the glue. I'm guessing a hair dryer would probably work well.
I passed on to him the many owners of this unit who are unhappy (and since have moved on) because of the lack of tension so early into its use and that UTG should include instructions on how to increase tension.
