Title: Diana, Venturi Air (lack of) Customer Support
Post by: KevinJBrown on August 10, 2020, 02:58:52 PM
Does anyone know how to get any customer support on these guns. The numbers at Venturi Air go straight (and have been going) for a while to voice mail, e-mails and voice mails are not being (have not been) returned. Pyramyd Air tech support is being done for these guns by this "company" and this is where I'm being directed. Right now my Diana Trailscout is just basically tossed into the corner as a piece of junk (a relatively new piece of junk).

Well, to finish up my part of this saga:

I finally got through to PA and sent the Trailscout back for repairs and it showed up on the porch today - back from repairs. "Replaced firing valve unit and reassembled the charging lever unit." This was done under warranty. Took less than three weeks from the time the RMA was issued until the gun arrived at my doorstep. So that was successful. Kudos (PA).

Even though it arrived with pressure in the gun, based on my experience and conversations with the supplier (I never was able to talk to the manufacturer about this gun), I will not leave CO2 in this gun. Also, the O-ring which they replace with an OEM style was swelled up after I emptied all pressure from the gun by dry firing and then took the charging lever unit out of the gun. Makes me think that all the O-rings in this thing are going to swell if CO2 is left in it for any extended length of time.  :o

I will put one of the O-rings I had been sent before as a replacement to prevent this from happening back on the gun. Put the scope on and take some shots.
