Title: V Mach or Vortek kit

Was just cruising some of the airgun retailers here in Canada and found V Mach kits for the 34's.

I just upgraded the springs and seals but still am interested in a kit.

Specialty Shooting Sports sells a V Mach kit for the RWS 34/38 and Fox sporting goods sells the Vortek Kit and Maccari sells kits for them as well.  When I upgrade again just for the simple reason of trying a kit.. which would you guys recommend.

The Vortek kit... The V Mach kit...Maccari Kit.

I recently tried the Vortek kit it is abit different so it might be worth a try....if you have previously tried the traditional methods of tunes

I have used many Maccari kits. Been very happy with all of them. Makes great seals too. Vortek kits work nice too. Put one in my bros. 48. Some day i want to try V-Mach.

Vorteked the 350 and made an incredible difference.
Thing about Vortek is, if you have a problem or question, you can get in touch with them directly and they will answer. V mac is out of the UK I believe.
But in reality, they are pretty much the same thing. Hard to compare one vs the other unless you buy both.

I haven't tried VMach,,but my Vortek 350's losing power and so far 55fps.I switched out the Kit to try the JM kit again and she went back up to normal with that kit.I really like the Vortek kit as it's smoothness,,but having the original fpe the kit delivered would be great.I checked the Breech seal and replaced it anyway and she's still no better.

If it's a bad spring I'd like to swap it out,but all I've got so far is,Shim the breech seal.

I have JM's kits in my 3 "R" guns. R7, R1, and an HW77K (I know, not a 'true' R gun!) They all work great. The only thing is tuning the seal to the comp chamber....you have to fit it just right. I was getting 760 fps in my 22 cal R1 with FTS pellets. I tried the Vortek kit in my R1 and it shoots quieter and smoother. I get 805 fps with the FTS pellets....same lot as before. The seal doesn't have to be fitted, drops right in! Have no experience with the V Mach kits.....MAC1 used to sell them waaaayyyy back when. Thanks! It is a 1993 Santa Rosa. Got it used in '98. It was a 177cal but I bought a 22 cal barrel...shoots soooooo good! This one will m=never be sold! Ordered the gold trigger and screw from Beeman before they stopped shipping parts. Got the brass safety from someone on this forum I think......a few years ago. Changed back to a Trophy scope I had on before.....better glass.
