Since it seems like people want to keep track of various suppliers and how they are doing during the pandemic, I thought I would post my latest experience.
I recently purchased four tins of JSB Match Diabolo Exact Jumbo Heavy .22 18.13 gr bullets from Pyramid Air. When I opened the first tin to start using them (filling up magazines). I noticed that a pellet was misshapen, then another. By the time I filled three magazines, I had four pellets sitting to the side. By the time I finished shooting and filled five magazines (50 pellets), I had seven pellets that I had segregated because they were misshapen. So this morning I called Pyramid Air and punched the button for them to call me back. Which Ken did after less than an hour. We talked and he had me open the other tins and check and also continue to check the first tin to see if there were lots of problems, if these were it, or it seemed like there were going to be a few pellets. It seemed like there were a few pellets that I wouldn't want to load as being a premier product in the first tin. Also two of the other tins had problems (although maybe less so - seems like I hit the winner right off the bat). There wasn't any evidence of damage in the shipping container, but I did notice handling/opening the four tins that one of them had a dent. To sum it up, in less than 15 minutes Ken worked out an exchange on a small transaction for exchange pellets that made up for my inconvenience hopefully they were OK with it. I went away a satisfied customer. I will be able to continue shooting, and I figure I will continue to patronize them.
