i got a pair of these for the boys a few months ago, and i slapped on a couple 4x leapers and zeroed them today. they are surprizingly accurate little rifles, and with the 10.5 grn CPUM's they penetrate clean through about 3/4" particle board on the first 2 magazines (24 shots) of a fresh co2. after that the pellets start to really drop, but i'm not complaining. i'm thinking of getting one for myself now. i am beginning to wonder if we got lucky and perhaps these guns are shooting a little harder than most. anyway, have any of you ever hunted with one of these? i'm pretty confident that a headshot with these would drop rabbits and squirrels inside 20 yards no problem, but i'd like to see if anyone else has tried. thanks

Not only are the 1077's accurate, they are just plain fun to shoot. They aren't made anymore, but check around and see if you can find an AS adapter. It will let you attach an Air Source 88gr cartridge and you will get over 300 shots per cartridge. I have taken squirrels, starlings and jackrabbits with mine, all inside 30 yards. I'm shooting the Crosman Destroyer EX from Wally. Please make sure your boys wear safety glasses when they shoot.

I love my 1077. Its just a fun little gun. If only its trigger were not so heavy.

There is an AS1077 on eBay he says it might have a problem with it.

That ought to stir up the competition a little. :D :D :D I got my AS1077 a couple of weeks ago from eBay and it cost me $40.00 plus shipping.
