Title: “ revolver” style hammers
Post by: Vmaxpro on July 15, 2020, 12:48:09 AM
Im not sure what their called, but its like a hammer on a revolver handgun. Anyhow, thats what AGT uses in the uragan. And let me tell you its got one mother of a spring in there. If you pull the spring you cant compress it by hand. The hammer weighs next to nothing as well. SO, heres where im lost. With the gun fired, or uncocked, there is a ton of preload against the valve. Theres zero bounce I can tell you that much! Is there any negative effects to this? Does it slow down the valve closing? I could actually make a spring stop guide so to speak, but Im wondering if the gun actually needs all that preload against it to crack the valve. Any thoughts?

is this hammer style similar to the PP700 series? I heard this style of hammer is very efficient! you know what people say. if it works, dont fix it. especially when you know it doesn't bounce...

some pics?
