Title: FX STX - Linear; How often do you need to clear your FX linear.
Post by: Raider03 on July 13, 2020, 11:44:41 AM
Hi,
I a have found wide range of opinions on this. What is your experience?
How often do you clean your FX linear to maintain accuracy?
What caliber, ammo, and speed are you shooting?

Thanks!

I am a newb with a 600mm STX and a 700mm STX.  I am figuring out that cleaning these liners is not necessary to do frequently.  They have such a smooth bore and choke, it's like self-cleaning liners.  I say shoot until accuracy begins to drift then clean or just use a brushless boresnake.

Clean the gunk out when you first get them,  then what Keith does is what I do.
