Does anyone know who made this drop block? I'm bottle gun illiterate! :) The brass piece threads are M18 X 1.5 which looks like will fit many alum and CF tanks. My real question relates to using a bottle style regulator. While a reg I have, has the same internal threads of the block, there are not sealing surfaces for the two O-rings. Does the reg seal like the adapter? ie O-ring at the base. Or maybe not designed for reg and it is bottle use only?

That an RAI block... Same as the one I use on all my bottle builds... You'll have to use an o-ring between the block and reg:

Also, don't forget to remove the pin valve from the reg. The brass adapter is so you can run just a tank, with no reg.

Thanks! :)
The picture I found of an RAI block on NE Airgun, showed two O-rings on the Mrod tube side. Similiar shaped block, but there are differences. Maybe the one I have is just an earlier version?
OK, so just use an O-ring at the reg base. :)

It's either a Gen1 or a Gen2 version I can't remember which way they went w/the o-ring... Hang on. *walks downstairs*
That's a Gen1 tank block. They went to 2 o-rings. There are some other small differences, but no worries- it'll still work just fine!

Looks just like an EARLY block from the days of WAR ( Wicked Air Rifles ) ... have one just like it !

Ooh, yeah- I forgot they offered bottle blocks as well!

It does seem well made.
Do the Ninja externally adjustable bottle regs fit this? Not sure if I'm going that way, or just standard reg, vs none. Just trying understand all my options. :)

Yup .. standard paintball reg ASA threading. Of the 2 I've got ( 1 original & 1 updated ), BOTH have ninja adjustable regulators screwed into them.
* they DON'T seal however on the regulators OEM TWIN o-rings but an added o-ring that seals it between regs top bonnet and the block.

Thanks Scott. :)

If you find the proper size o-ring that goes between the reg and block will you please post it John. I have been doing battle with one and seem to be losing lol. Thanks. I went with this block on my B-rod because I liked the looks better than the RAI.

That would be the original design that Douglas(pakprotector) came up with and then allowed WAR to produce.

I made That block a LONG time ago. Seems like eons ago.

It was a great design, just a tad bulky. Simple, yet effective.

Here is that block being used on my Bottle rauder & Pre-production Ninja adjustable reg.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate all the input. :)
