Howdy
So I am debating a $2,000 compressor or a Nitrogen filling station which that same $2,000 should give me years of shooting, no compressor maintenance and perfectly dry air.
As I have an FX Crown I am interested in any FX owners that are using Nitrogen. Have you had any seal issues?
Thanks

Using nitrogen is using nitrogen, whether your gun is FX, Crosman, Artemis, etc. It has its merits.
The adjustable regulator is useful for many things, so it in itself is a sound investment in my opinion. Nitrogen is inert/clean/dry so nothing to loose there.
The biggest factor is you will need to do your homework on 6k nitrogen cylinder costs and availability---it can be very region-specific, with dramatic differences in cost structures--read the fine print on recurring and non-recurring costs. Some folks have a difficult time exchanging cylinders. Some folks report low fills. Again, try and get real world intel on your supply chain before making the decision.
I keep a couple of 6k nitrogen cylinders on hand year round....

Thanks mackeral5, I guess my main concern was FX seals not liking Nitrogen and needing to replace them. Thank you for the due diligence encouragement. The scales are gently tipping to the N-side.

The Earth's atmosphere is 78% Nitrogen. There is no issue with pure dry N2 and seals.
