Title: .22 Gauntlet shroud

Good Evening Guys, I was shooting the Gauntlet and kept noticing that everytime I cocked the gun barrel/shroud kept moving down when I cocked it.I then found what was happening,The shroud was no longer attached to the gun,please correct me if I am wrong but doesn't the shroud screw into the receiver? When I looked closely there was between an 1/8 to 1/16 of threads left on the exterior of the shroud.I looked at several pages of exploded diagrams and could not find much info on this part of the rifle.

Any Ideas Welcome.

No. There is a spacer that has a grub screw that tightens to the barrel. It should be snug up against the receiver. Then the barrel shroud screws over the spacer and butts tight to the receiver.
