You guys find great bargains and I need your help. 1" scope rings
This one was sent in a post here... https://airgunopticsplus.com/collections/scopes/products/discovery-vt-t-6-24x50-sfvf-dlt-ffp-mil-first-focal-plane-hunting-shooting-riflescope-for-airgun-air-rifle-scope-camera-adapte (https://airgunopticsplus.com/collections/scopes/products/discovery-vt-t-6-24x50-sfvf-dlt-ffp-mil-first-focal-plane-hunting-shooting-riflescope-for-airgun-air-rifle-scope-camera-adapte)
I like it but have a more of a 'beer budget' than this right now.
$150ish is better
Prefer:
4-16 x 50
6-24 x 50
Edit... My AirForce 3-90 x 40 AO blew out and I need another after sending it in to AirForce for repair/replacement.
-
I have the UTG 6-24x 50 hunter, works well. @ 24x it is clear. Springer rated

Thank You Mike. That's a strong contender!
-
You might take a look at the Crosman Father's Day sale--better than half off on some of those scopes!

In these price ranges, I really like the Leapers UTG scopes. I have 3, and they work really well for me.

Great scopes IMHO. I have three and happy with them. They have choices with specs that rival far more expensive scopes. Their TS platform is designed specifically to endure air guns, but are often the choice for PB guys as well. Shock and environmentally impervious.
i'm not as big a fan of their mounting hardware, however. Hawke's line is more my choice, and theirs is what I chose to solve my D48's scope mounting dilemma. And while their scopes are also great, they can be twice the money of UTG's similar options.

I have the above on my R9 and it works brighter and clearer than I expected. If you want one get 4 and put them on anything with R9 and less power. It's lasted 2 years on my air rifles until I left it on the R9 .177.
-
What are you putting the new scope on...didn't see it mentioned so springer or PCP......
-
The UTG 6-24X50 1" Hunter Scope suggested above is looking REALLY good right now.
I was VERY tempted by Discovery VT-T 6-24X50 SFVF DLT FFP MIL First Focal Plane but not really sure I'm doing that much better but for sure spending more.

My Guns:
Beeman RS2, 177 - no scope, iron sights only
TalonSS, .177 - no scope
BSA R10 TH, .22 - Hawke Vantage 4-12 x 50 Mil-Dot IR
Just sent in my AirForce 3-9 x 40 for warranty repair / replacement. Probably a month at least. The Talon uses the least air and the one I'll shoot the most.
-
This scope will likely go on the BSA. Not sure yet.
Eventually I need one for the Beeman but I'm not in a hurry.
If the Leapers would be OK on the Beeman all is well once I get my AF warranty scope back. I asked AF to, should they decide to replace, upgrade me to a 4-16 x 50. Just don't know what they'll do.
-
I just ordered a Athlon talos mildot. Check out them and there neos . Most of the 2 lines are under 150
No questions asked warranty. And quickly answers emails on there product's
-
It's $9 over your budget but 4-16x50, side focus (the Hawke on my Galatian has side focus, way easier to use) not front and only 2 colors on the IR, not 36 (and why I never bought a UTG, too many colors...lol).

An Athlon Optics Talos 4-16x40 Mil-Dot Scope is very good at that price.

There nice but was told by them and the guy here who deals in discovery that they won't back them on strong Springer's.
The guy here with them even has a footnote with not for magnum use.
So why pay to be limited?
At least there honest and did not hide that fact. That was nice of them.
-
I have this scope, and I really like it. It's well within your budget. AirgunArcheryFun is a vendor on this forum, they carry Discovery scopes.

He said PCP, I merely suggested one that would fit, except for the $9, inside inside his parameters for a scope on a PCP...lol.

If you have just a touch more money in your budget Camera Land NY has Bushnell Nitro 2.5x10x44 FFP scopes clearanced out to 199 dollars. I got one earlier this year during the peak of the C-19 stuff and it shipped from NY and was in Iowa in 4 days. It has a great reticle as well. Good luck on your search.

That's the guy I was talking about above ho deals the discovery scopes.
I just can't see paying 150 for a scope that I'm limited on it's use to one at the same price point I can use on everything I shoot. (Opinion)

You guys are awesome, I'm grateful.
Shopping fatigue was leading to 'analysis paralysis'. I pulled the trigger..... DISCOVERY OPTICS VT-2 4-16X50 SFIR SIDE FOCUS ILLUMINATED HAWK STYLE RETICLE RIFLE SCOPE WITH SUNSHADE
https://airgunopticsplus.com/collections/scopes/products/discovery-vt-2-4-16x50-sfir-hawke-reticle-side-focus-for-target-shooting-hunting-riflescope-1-inch-for-airsoft-air-guns (https://airgunopticsplus.com/collections/scopes/products/discovery-vt-2-4-16x50-sfir-hawke-reticle-side-focus-for-target-shooting-hunting-riflescope-1-inch-for-airsoft-air-guns)
Done... Order Confirmed!!!!!!!!!
The reticle currently is bit wiggly even at 12x so 16x is probably the max I'd want anyways.

With the 10% off signup thing I ended up at $143.10. Perfect.
-
Well congrats!
But I think you sold yourself short to limited to what they offer for price
Limited to gun it's used on and a 3 year warranty
3.1 The warranty period for the riflescope products sold by our company is three years, except our ED line which includes a lifetime warranty beginning from the date of delivery.
For that $. It could of been no questions asked lifetime and be used on anything you want from mag Springer's to a 300 win mag or a rock if needed.
Anyway good luck and enjoy!

I see your point about limiting myself to PCP's but the springer is really a last option thing for me to shoot. I don't care too much about warranty. Sadly, I've come to associate "lifetime warranty" with a pre-determined certainty that IT WILL BREAK. I could be dead in three years, who knows.
I appreciate you pointing in smart directions.
BTW... Your comments in You Know You're a Redneck were cracking me up this morning!!!

A Moron,
Funny that you mentioned 300 Super Mag because that's on my want list. Sold my Armalite AR 50BMG and need something else to make noise with.

There are tons of scopes priced under $150. What kind of improvements are you getting when you spend $150 vs $90?
