Title: Up North air gunners is breaking me
Post by: Lani52 on June 06, 2020, 08:06:25 PM
In February it was his video of the Texan 257, so eventually, after molds MadDog stocks and Doug helping the wife put it back together and a 4x16 ffp Hawk, I was done, maybe over 2 k , but I already had the Hawk.

I have been eyeballing that Airventuri Advenger and he just had to go and do a @#$
%^& video, so I preordered a 22.

The wife had been telling me I had to get a new airgun anyway. 8)

Roachcreek

Mike,

I will keep that in mind, but at the price of those FX rifles you may have to wait quite a while.  I would really like to buy one, Lani says to go for it because she knows I do love airguns.  Just hard to justify that kind of money when  10 yards is as far as I get out these days. That and I have bought 3 airguns already this year, a Texan LSS/MadDog stock, molds, a Seneca  carbine, and molds and this AV Avenger.

This house is the First house I lived in in 29 years that I need curtains, couldn’t shoot from the front door or windows and couldn’t mark my territory when it got dark, if you know what I mean.

Yep, it is nice to be able to mark your territory. But I don't need to wait until dark where I live now.

Tom,

It really is and that superior barrel is incredible.

I wonder what will happen to the pellet liner and slug liners.  If I had my way, they would be bought up to make tensioned light weight airgun replacement barrels for many of the barrels we buy for the ma d prods my Skyhawks p15’s.

Or rebar.

Keep dreaming my friends,

Roachcreek

Yup I see an Avenger in my not so distant future myself  ;)

With only a one year warranty,if they don't have parts available you will end up with a $300 fly swatter! I did not get a reply from Air Venturi about parts! I am looking also but would like to be able to fix it after the warranty runs out.If they hear from enough of us maybe they will listen.

We were hoping that if enough of us who bought the Liberty from ATI would have heard us but the sound of crickets became maddening after a while  ;D
I hope that PA will not disappoint when it comes to parts availability.
Although the exchange process for another rifle helped some.

I'm one of them fix it people, so no issues for me. Imagine if all the airgun factories shut down :O

I think that when Ted does a shooting review of the gun it will be a good one, especially since he's accustom to the high end stuff I'm sure he'll enlighten use on it.

I put in some inquiries to AV as well, asking about parts (0-rings) while noting its similarity to the Aspen and Liberty.....never heard back. I don't mind doing repairs but I'm waiting to see how it holds up under pressure (no pun intended) and how AV is supplying parts.
